A worried Jasper returned but he wasn't alone, by his side was Jane. Someone we wouldn't have expected but what else is new, everything is going crazy at this point. Esme and Carlise had assumed they had been destined, hell we all had. 

But that's the thing about fate it changes whether you will it to or not. Carlise had tied up seth in an attempt to keep him contained until we could figure out a solution. "It won't hold him long, any ideas on what Edward's next moves would have been?"

All eyes turned to Bella and I, we both had been the closest to him but that didn't make it easy to just know what a vengeful version of someone we loved was after. "I wouldn't know, I hadn't been seeming him that long before Esto came back and things changed..." Bella responded and I paced back and forth wondering what could possibly be one of Edward's first moves, other then killing me that is. 

"Charlie...if he wanted to hurt both of us, the logical thing for him to go after would be Charlie. Kind of like killing two birds one stone." I suggested and their was many nods of agreement, they knew I was right. 

"I'll have the wolf pack stay around Charlie's, if there's one thing Sam and I can agree on it's we both care about Charlie and your family." Jacob stated but Carlise interjected. 

"No, would any of you really have what it takes to take Seth down if it came to it? I mean think about it yo-" He was cut off by Leah interjecting. 

"No absolutely not that is my little brother, I want his safety yes but I can never live with myself if it was one of my own that had to....finish the job." She said and we all shared a look of concern. 

Before we could respond there was a loud crash and by the time we made it to were Seth had been tied up he was gone. "Charlie we have to get to Charlie!" I shouted and everyone just looked worried they didn't know what to do, "Fine! You don't want to grow some balls I will!" I bolted from the house following Seth's trail but he was fast, would I make it in time?

I was brought from my trance by feeling a hand on my shoulder and the sounds of rushed foot steps. Carlise began examining Charlie's body and trying to clean his wounds with what he had. "It's a good thing you got here when you did Esto, or he might have finished him. I am sorry that we all stepped back when it got hard."

"It's fine Carlise, I understand the predicament you were put in." Bella removed her hand from my shoulder and touched her hand to Charlie's face. 

"I should have went with you, I'm sorry Esto he's my father to and I failed him just as much as the rest of them." I grabbed her arm though and forced her to look at me. 

"No Bella, this isn't your fault. I'm not going to hold you accountable for our ex-boyfriend being an ass from beyond the grave." She smiled at me and hugged me tightly, for a moment I felt a bond with Bella I never felt before. 

Carlise called an ambulance and Charlie was sent to the hospital for further examination. "We need to find Seth, and separate him from Edward...of course none of us know to do that." Alice interjected and I looked at Bella with a smile. 

"Feel like going on a quest with me for some sibling bonding?" I asked her and she nodded and said her goodbyes to Alice. We whisked away immeddiatly that night. 

They would search for Seth while we searched for a solution, it wouldn't be easy and we had no clues, but we were determined. The first stop Volterra Italy.
