chapter 9

Taylor's POV

the jewelry place called and said the necklace was ready to be picked up. I went to the store and saw that the necklace was in a black, velvet box. I paid and went back to the hotel.

I saw that Karla was up and ready. "good morning beautiful" I said as I kissed her. "morning babe. so what do we have planned for today" she said while finishing her hair. "well, I am going to take you to dinner, then I have a surprise for you" I said with a smile. "sounds good! what time are the reservations?" "8:00. be ready to be picked up by 7:30" I said while kissing her forehead.

Karla's POV

I can't believe Taylor is taking me out to dinner. I love him so much. it was now 4:00 so I decided I should start getting ready. I went to the bathroom and started on my makeup. I did some light foundation and powder, mascara, and eyeliner.

after my makeup, I started with my hair. I decided I should curl it and have my bangs pinned in the back with a bow.

"ughh I don't know what to wear!!" I said as I sat down on the bed. I picked up my phone and dialed Megan and Alexa. "hey, can you guys come to my room? I need some help" I said into the phone. "on our way" Megan said.

less than a minute passed and they were knocking at my door. I opened it and let them in. "so, what do you need help with?" Alexa asked.

"I'm going to dinner tonight with Taylor and I don't know what to wear. help me?" I questioned. they both started looking into my suitcase as I was on twitter. I was getting some hate from dating Taylor, but I didn't think much of it.

I looked up and saw Alexa holding the dress and shoes, and Megan holding the jewelry and bow. "oh my gosh, you guys that's perfect!! thank you so much" I said as I grabbed the stuff from them.

by the time I finished it was 7:20. I had 10 minutes to kill. I walked out of the bathroom and stood in the doorway. Alexa and Megan looked up and had excited expressions on their faces. "you look amazing!!" Alexa said admiring my hair. "you really do. Taylor will be wanting some action with the way you're looking" Megan said. I heard a knock at the door. I grabbed my phone, room key, purse, and was ready to go.

Taylor's POV

I have to admit I am nervous. what if she doesn't like the necklace? what if the surprise is too cheesy? ok, calm down Taylor. I knocked on her door and waited. she soon opened the door looking gorgeous as ever. she was wearing a pale colored dress that goes just above her thighs. she was wearing pale colored flats with a pale colored bow in her hair. and her blue eyes stood out. she looked beautiful.

I was standing there admiring her until she said, "is this too much?" she said while looking down and pulling the dress down lower. I walked up to her and took her hands in mine. "you... look beautiful" I said as I kissed her gently.

we walked to the car and started driving to the restaurant.

we took our seats and the waiter took our orders. "may I have a steak with a salad on the side?" she said. "of course, and for you sir?" he asked while looking at me. "what she's having" I said with a look of jealousy. "he was looking at you while taking your order" I said looking down. "hey, I don't want anybody but you" she said while taking my hands into hers. I kissed her hand and the food came.

we finished eating and tipped. the waiter gave us the recipe and gave Karla a piece of paper. she wrote something on it and gave it back to him. "what did he give you..." I said with anger in my voice. "his number, but don't worry, I said I'm not interested. I just want to see the look on his face when he sees it" she said with a laugh. I laughed with her and the waiter's expression was priceless. alright Taylor. this is the time where you promise her your love for her. don't mess it up. we left the restaurant and started driving to the location for the surprise. "close your eyes" I said as I neared the location.

Karla's POV

I closed my eyes and I felt the car stop. "stay here" Taylor said. he soon came and opened my door and led me outside. "ok, you can open" he said.

I opened my eyes and was in awe. we were on the beach. there was lights everywhere and a blanket with pillows and a blanket set on the sand. Taylor stood there looking down at me smiling. "Taylor, this is beautiful" I said as I grabbed his face with my hands and kissed him. he bent down on one knee and said, "Karla, I'm making a promise to you. a promise that I will forever love you and never let you go" and with that said, he pulled out a black velvet box. inside it was a silver heart shaped locket. on the inside was a picture of me and him looking at each other with our foreheads pressed against each other's. there was an engraving on the back that said, "Forever and always, my love". I had to admit I felt tears go down my cheeks. Taylor took the necklace and put it on my neck.

we started to walk down by the shore and I saw something I've always dreamt of seeing; a message in a bottle. I took it and opened it. it was a note from Taylor.

it read; "dear Karla, you are the love of my life. I'm so happy I get to call you mine. I know this is cheesy, but it's something you've always wanted. and seeing you happy puts a smile on my face. I made that promise because I will love you for eternity. I will never stop loving you. you bring me so much happiness and joy. I will never let you go. now, I'm apologizing early for all the times I might mess up. I might come home late, forget about stuff. so I'm apologizing early. I love you so much baby girl. forever and always my love.

love, Taylor" I didn't realize I was crying until I felt tears come down my cheeks. I just ran up to him

and kissed him as my legs were wrapped around his waist and my arms around his neck. "thank you so much Taylor. I love you" I said into his neck. "I love you too baby girl" he said as he kissed me passionately.

we both laid down on the blanket and watched the stars. the night was absolutely perfect.

I don't know about this chapter. I had some writers block and just came up with something quick.

I don't know about the character Megan being in the story any longer. I might make her have to leave to go back home or something.
