Thank you all for making this:

#1 in JASON TODD (6/23/20)

#1 in TIMDRAKE (4/20/20)

#1 in BARBARAGORDON (4/20/20)

#1 in SELFDOUBT (4/20/20)

#3 in ORACLE (4/20/20)

#55 in BATMAN (4/20/20)

and otherwise, just making this my most well-known piece. As of this writing (4/20/20), we're at 36.9 K reads, and if we get to 50K, I'll draw something special for y'all.

(10/2/20) : So, we've been at 50K for a while, but I've been busy with university so this took a hot minute. Thank you all so much for your support and love for me and this work! This piece was fun to return to. I love Jason as a dad doing dad things. I also posted this art back in that one chapter when Jason actually feeds Colt.

~
I loved writing this so hecking much, y'all have no idea. I fell in love with every character, doted over every character growth, and completely wiped myself out with the climax. Loved it! I loved toying with the major themes here, like family and grief and love. My writing skill has grown so much, I hope you can tell.

.

I did my best to do a fairly inclusive cast (for those of you who didn't pick up on it, Hill has vitiligo ((because I saw some vitiligo models on Instagram and absolutely fell in love with their beautiful skin, then wondered why I'd never heard or seen it before, then resolved that I needed to make a character with skin as beautiful as theirs)); Barbara is disabled; Momma J, Colton, and Mari are/were African American; and I always pictured Antigone as half-Latino ((I'd originally planned to introduce Layla Martino--- that woman that Jason scared at the beginning--- as her birthmother, but never got around to it)).

In general I didn't specify ethnicities, though, I just kinda of left description clues here and there, so it's ok if you didn't notice. Race wasn't a focal point of the story; I didn't make much of it or let it affect how I wrote the characters.

.

Unfortunately, I'm 90% there's not going to be a sequel. The story admittedly left some open ends between Manon and Dick (plus the possibility of other soulmates for the Batboys) but I don't think I'm going to explore those.

If on the off chance I happen to write something, I'll add another Author Note here, and I'll post something on my account.

~ UPDATE (4/20/20)~

Okay, so I didn't write a sequel, but @redbloodtea wrote a spinoff where my Manon is the Manon from Miraculous Ladybug. It's great! It's called "So I've Been Told" and it's on my reading list if you're having trouble finding it.

And, for future notice (I didn't think I needed to say this the first time because I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to do this, but apparently some do, so here), you're free to write fanfictions of this if it suits your fancy. My only guidelines are that you contact me ahead of time (I'll plug for you!), give credit where credit is due, and keep things clean. If you have questions about anything, feel free to message me ;). But yeah, have at it. Do weird things. Do marvelous things. Do stupid things. Go for it.

.

Anyway, I'm not going to bore you with a super long drawn out Author's Note, but I do want to thank a certain someone before I go:

@writingismagic1515--- for always being there, and always, always commenting. You were there through all of it (she's a real-life friend), and even when I wouldn't let you read parts, you still stuck with me. Not that you really had a choice after all those cliffhangers.

Are you proud? I didn't kill anyone major this time!

.

Adios, my Hottie Tottie's. Thank you for having me in this journey.
