During the rest of that week, Camilla, Dorcas and Iris spent all their free time with Bambi. In the first two days, the girl was still a bit apprehensive, especially around Iris, but the three of them were trying their very best to try and make Bambi realize that who her family was and, more importantly, who her brother was, didn't change who she was.

"Come on, Bambs... Relax." Camilla rolled her eyes gently, with a sweet smile gracing her lips. "We've already been through that."

Bambi looked at her, before staring at Iris and Dorcas, who were whispering among themselves and giggling every once in a while. Her chocolate brown eyes travelled toward the blonde Latina girl once more and she smiled.

"Alright." She said. "You know what? You're right. I shouldn't be worrying. You don't see me differently after all, do you?"

"That's right." Camilla cheered. "Oi, you two! Bambi decided to listen to us."

Dorcas stopped whispering to Iris how the Gryffindor girl a few meters away from their tree by the Black Lake seemed to be - not so with much apparent success - flirting with the boy beside her and looked at the sandy blonde Ravenclaw, who smiled.

"Brilliant idea, really." Iris joked. "But what exactly what are you talking about?"

Camilla and Bambi laughed loudly and Iris rolled her eyes. It wasn't really her fault. Dorcas' lip syncing the couple in her ear was quite entertaining.

"I decided to forget about Nicodemus for now." Bambi said, firmly.

At that, Dorcas and Iris exchanged a glance and their eyes shinned with happiness.

"About bloody time." Iris smirked and Dorcas hit her arm. Both Ravenclaws giggled at Iris' playful pout.

"Oh, Bambs, that's great." Dorcas, always so kind and polite, said. "We're happy for you, aren't we, Irie, dear?" She finished, glaring at her best friend, who struggled not to laugh.

"Of course we are!" She defended. "And she knows it. It was joke, for God's sake."

Camilla laughed and Dorcas rolled her eyes. The Hufflepuff didn't really understand Iris' necessity of sarcasm toward them. Of course she could be quite sharp when she wanted to, but that didn't necessarily mean she enjoyed being playfully rude to her friends, as she called it. Iris, on the other hand, didn't seem to be able to hold a whole conversation without snapping at someone - being it playfully or no. Still, somehow, the two girls seemed to work together. Seemed to complete each other like anybody else. Iris dared to say Dorcas knew her about just as much as her own sister did and she was quite happy about it if she was being completely honest.

"Hey, Irie." Bambi called, causing the girl to look at her. "Aren't you going to study? I mean... It's Friday."

At those words, Iris was suddenly up and alert.

"What time is it?"

"Half past three." Camilla answered, looking at her wrist watch.

"Shit." Iris mumbled, before picking up her bag and jumping to her feet. "Gotta go. See you at dinner, sorry."

And with that, she turned around and ran from the Black Lake toward the Castle. She made the turns she was so used to do in order to get to the library and yelled some rushed "sorrys" to the students she unintentionally hit in her hurry.

She finally got to the place where she was supposed to be half an hour ago and stopped by the door. She used some time to catch her breath and fix her bun in her head. Meanwhile, she started to imagine what she would say to Remus. "Sorry, I was with my friends and completely forgot about coming study with you"? It seemed quite harsh, didn't it? But it was the truth, so it was better than nothing. At least, for her it was.
