Chapter 3

I walked in to see the back of a young man with bushy black hair, he was slouching watching some videos and taking notes. I looked at Matsuda who just smiled and softly pushed me a little closer to his chair, I took a deep breath and spoke. "H-" he looked at me before I said anything. "Welcome Skyler." He had heavy dark circles and was very pale. As he spoke I couldn't help but notice his voice was very monotone and expressionless,he stood up and walked over to me still slouching his hair was very fluffy in the front too. He looked at me, his face looked very tired and he didn't smile at all and his clothes were very baggy. "I'm L, but here I would rather you call me Ryuzaki.l" I stood there just looking at him, I couldn't believe this was L I had to be the luckiest person ever. "You alright?" I shook my head and smiled nervously. "O-of course I am L I MEAN Ryuzaki!" I chuckled nervously as he walked back the his chair, I ran over to his chair. "What'cha watching?" It was film from a security camera. "Just examining a few things." He said as he took a bite of his cake, he held his fork so weird I couldn't help but stare. "Whats the matter? Would you like some cake?" I nodded "well too bad it's mine." He said taking another bite of his cake, I was pretty disappointed like come on man I want some. I watched the film, but I wasn't sure what we were suppose to be watching, all I could hear was Ryuzaki mumble things like interesting or fascinating. I looked at his cake and saw there were strawberries in the middle, I moved my hand over and took one. He looked at me not very amused as I giggled and ate it. "Why would you do that?" "It was delicious!" I smiled he turned his head watching the video pushing his plate over to me. "You may have it." I looked at him. "Are you sure?" He nodded I looked at the cake feeling pretty guilty, but I ate it anyway. He kept glancing over at me, was he really that mad about cake? "...what?" I asked he looked at me. "Nothing." He shook his head looking at me, I looked at him. "Do you need some sleep? You look really tired." He chuckled and leaned back. "No I have to work as much as I can, but if you ask me that was quite rude." "I-uh I'm very sorry!" I blushed I didn't mean to be rude I was only trying to help. "Now could you please leave, you're distracting me." "A-alright." I turned around and walked to the door. "You understand right? I have to make sure I don't miss anything." "Yes..I understand." I opened the door and left walking back out to everyone.
