His guard

(Panda POV)

Aphmau, sorry Lilith woke up in her bed softly at 5 am, she yawned and stretched as she sat up remembering she was in O'Khasis, with a sigh she got out of bed and got dressed, just something simple, leggings and a t-shirt. She then brushed her hair out which was pretty easy cause it was short, she then looked at her clock and saw it was almost time to wake Zane, she huffed and put her armor on.

(In Zane's room)

He tossed and turned for hours till he huffed and just got up, he looked at his clock and saw it was only 5 am, he growled and saw up, he couldn't stop thinking about what Lilith's face looked like, he huffed again till there was a knock on his door, he didn't answer, it then opened to reveal Lilith.

"Oh your already up sir" she said, he nodded.

"Yes i didn't get much sleep last night" he said, she nodded.

"Well if you are having a hard time sleeping drink some chamomile and lavender tea" she said, he nodded and walked over to the door and out as she followed, they walked to his office where she stood next to him, he was writing something on paper on his desk, then he looked at he.

"We will be going to see Lord Aphmau and my brother, id like to see if she has made up her mind about my offer before i wage war" he said with an evil smirk, Lilith nodded.

"Yes sir and i must say she sounds like a rotten lord if she passes up your offers sir" she said, he nodded.

"She most definitely is, she can't even run her village correctly" he said, she laughed.

"What a dumb women" she said, he laughed as well.

"I like the way you think" he said as he stood.

"Thank you sir" she said, they then started walking out to the stable, he grabbed a horse and she got on her black horse, Zane eyed him.

"That is a beautiful horse" he said, she nodded.

"Yes he is, i tamed him myself" she said, he nodded as they galloped along.

"So tell me where are you from and why did you come to be my guard?" he asked, she had to think quick.

"I came from Brightport and i heard of the powerful high priest Zane Ro'Meave and i wanted to be the one to guard you because i have heard you are quite twisted and i like twisted" she said, he nodded and chuckled a bit.

"You haven't seen twisted yet but you are correct i am very powerful" he said, she nodded even though under the helm she was rolling her eyes. They rode quickly through the woods till they made it to the gates of Phoenix Drop, Garroth stood on the top of the gate.

"Zane what do you want?" He asked, Zane and Lilith got off their horses.

"I want to see lady Aphmau" He said, Garroth scoffed.

"She does not wish to see you!" He yelled, then Lilith drew her sword.

"Then she is a coward!" She yelled, Zane looked at her and laughed.

"That is correct but put your sword away" he said, she nodded and did as she was told, Garroth scoffed.

"And besides Zane you know her answer she will not marry you!!" He yelled, Zane huffed and got back on his horse, as did Lilith.

"We'll be back again and i want to see her myself or war will commence!" Zane yelled, Garroth growled and walked away as Zane and Lilith rode off.

"I can't believe that stupid guard wouldn't let you see her!" Lilith said, Zane scoffed.
