She stood there perfectly in the entrance to the room. 😲😍
"stop staring she's coming over here," Ryan whispered
I quickly sprang back to life and tried to act normal.
"hey, Zach, Ryan" Kate smiled
"You look good tonight... I I I mean you loook ggood everyydayy" I stuttered
I felt my cheeks turning bright red.
"ahaha, you too" Kate snickered
Kate POV
I grabbed zach by the hand out to the dance floor. I wrapped my arms around her kneck. He hesitated at first before he put his arms around my waist. The whole world stopped, and it was just us in the dance floor. I looked up and met Zach's eyes, he leaned in towards me, i met him half way (THEY KISSED). as we both pulled away time started again, people moving around us continued to dance. Both Zach and I's cheeks turned red when Ryan said

I looked into the mirror in the bathroom, for once in a very long time I couldn't see the shy depressed girl standing there. I searched the crowd looking for Zach, i couldn't see him. I searched and searched till i finally found him. Why did I not just wait why why! what i saw when i turned the corner in the lobby shocked me, made tears instantly flow down my cheeks, made me want to curl up into a ball. I saw Zach kissing another girl. Not just any old kiss but one where they both accepted it no one was pulling away. I was frozen i could move. Finally i sprinted up the stairs not wanting to look back
" KATE!! STOP RUNNING" Zach yelled
As if.... i ran to my room and slammed the door behind me. I curled up into a ball on the bed. Zach was pounding at the door
"no, no, no no no" I cried to myself
