I starred at my phone for what felt like hours, until i got a reply from Zach, i read it almost instantly

I smiled as i turned off my phone. I was scared that Adam was going to find out but i was still going to go on that date with Zach whether he liked it or not. I walked downstairs, and took a piece of pizza out of the box and walked over to the table where the rest of my family were sitting
"We were just about to go get you" My dad smiled

I crawled out of bed...ugh today is the first day of school :/. i grumpily walked over to my closet to pick out an outfit, after a long debate i chose some black jeans and a white knit sweater.
"hey sis" Adam said pocking his head into my room
"hey Adam" I shot back
"Breakfast is ready downstairs" He stated
"where are mom and dad?" i asked
"They left"
Without saying good bye... it bothered me, they always said good bye.
"By the way, we're having a party tonight" Adam yelled from downstairs

"I'll drive you to school if you want?"
as annoying as Adam can be, he also was kind
"Thank you!" i yelled
"no problem, sissy" He said grabbing the keys to the car
The car ride was pretty silent, since there was nothing to talk about. I reluctantly opened the door to the car, without a doubt, Lucie ( the popular mean girl from chapter 1) came up and kindly oh so kind spilled her pink smoothie all over me( this was purposeful)
"oops" she snickered
Lucie had just made the biggest mistake of her life
"HEY YOU!" Adam yelled
Adam was quite fit, he trained in the gym everyday,so when he wanted to he could look really scary
"Adam. iiittts reaallly fiinee" I stutterd
I shouldn't be the one scared yet I am
"You mess with my sister you mess with me" i saw every muscle in his body clench
ZACH POV
I walked into school like i would any day, until i hear yelling in the car park. Obviously i wanted to see what was going on, i walked around the corner to the car park to find, Kate, a tall boy/man, lucie and her friends all standing there. I looked over at Kate she was drenched in a pink smoothie without a doubt Lucie had poured it over her. I suddenly realised that the man was her brother. Without thinking about it I started to walk over to them
"You mess with my sister you mess with me" this Adam was a scary guy
I walked up behind Lucie
"OH! Zachy, this man is harassing me" Lucie has the fantasy that were dating but we really aren't and NEVER will
"So your this infamous Zach" Adam chuckled crossing his arms
"see Kate he is a cheater"
Kate giggled at shook her head
"They're not dating, Lucie just thinks so"
"Get back in the car Kate, your not going to this school" Adam yelled at Kate
Kate flashed me a nervous look as she climbed back into the car
I looked back at Lucie who was still holding the smoothie cup
"Someone is a bit of a drama queen, don't ya think Zachy" Lucie said wrapping her arms around me
"stop it Lucie" I growled
"What, don't you think we'd be good together, i mean i'm definitely the prettiest girl and your the cutest boy" She said
"Your not the prettiest girl Lucie" I grumbled
"Then who is" She demanded
I said nothing
"Oh my God you think that b*tch Kate is" She said shocked
"Who cares if I do" I yelled
"WE ARE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER" Lucie yelled
I stormed off'
