Mysterious Emails

(Reapers POV )

I stayed silent the whole car ride to the "lead" I gave them, I felt a small amount of guilt having put the small package outside with a note claiming to have seen them.

When we arrived imidiently everyone scavenged the area hoping to be the first for a clue.i falsely followed suit of what the others where doing making my self unsuspected all the while remaining calm and calculated. Finally Fell spoke up with a large sigh after gruelling hours of searching. "This May have bin a trick." He grumbled studying the ground intently thinking of a next plan of action, I kept a poker face giving little to non interest in his words nor looked at the pitiful looks the others wore.

(Genos POV)

After recovering from that traumatic experience and finally managed to get out the house again I texted Reaper.

G-hey Reaps you up for a drink?

I stared at the screen re reading it over and over until the words all jumbled up.Disheartedly I slipped my phone in my pocket I New after that mess he wouldn't want to talk to me again I thought feeling a pang or sadness. Until a sharp ring split through the air emitting from my pocket. Pulling the device  out I couldn't help but smile.

R-oh wow Thee geno asking me on a date? How could I say no.

I shook my head trying to not give in to charming humour
G-it's not a date stupid more like a reunion?

After sorting out a place for this apparent date I headed there praying it was still open and to my surprise it was the small coffee shop lied lit up with a neon light of a coffee cup that  flickers blue light over the side walk.

I didn't know whether to wait out side for him or go in. Though I went inside due to a ominous vibe the city gave at night even though I'm probably the scariest thing out there due to my issue.

After a good hour of waiting I was losing hope and had slight anger until the door dinged. Glancing back I met my gaze to Reaper who had the face of a puppy getting in trouble. I rolled my eye light and got up angrily pushing past him.

Not even a moment after I heard hurried footsteps to catch up with me "Geno please let me explain why I'm late." I stopped and whirled around causing Reaper fumble to stop. "You better have a damn good excuse then." I snapped narrowing my eyes "I got called for a emergency meeting everyone on  the case had to go so that included me." I crossed my arms and waited for a apology.He finally got the hint after a long moment of awkward staring "I'm really really sorry." He said with sincerity no hint of mockery laced his tone. I nodded in acknowledgement he smiled slightly leaning down and kissed me causing a vibrant blue hue to hit my face.

When he pulled away I took note of a lighter blue dust his cheeks faintly. He took notice of my dumb founded look and chuckled "well what are we waiting for then? Let's go." I nodded numbly still in a daze of what the heck just happened!

Reaper dragged me along back to the coffee shop as we entered "Oh there you too are. What did you kiss and make up?" Toriel said in a taunting tone but little did she know... Reaper turned back and winked at me with a smirk causing me to puff out my cheeks in frustration of this damn Skelton.

We took our seats and ordered. I asked for a hot chocolate hoping to maybe get it down. "So how's it going..??" Reaper asked with a playful gleam in his eye light "for starters this ain't a date." I said clearly ignoring the slight hope it is. How ever Reapers Smirk didn't falter.

"Knock knock"  I gave a confused look at Reaper wanting to ignore him though my pun side gave in to him "who's there?" Reapers smirk widened (at this point he's gonna look like the Cheshire Cat XD) "olive" he said plainly though remained with his eyes meeting mine. I gave a confused look before continuing this joke "olive who?" "Olive you" he chuckled.

I froze for a moment processing the joke before I felt my cheeks heat up though I was cringing slightly "ha ha your real funny reaper." I spoke sarcastically wishing for this dumb blush to go away. "Awe but your blushing though" he spoke causing my blush to grow more visible. Eventually I just covered the lower half of my face with my dear scarf.

After a bit of chatter our drinks came, gingerly after it cooled I took a sip imidiently gagging though I hid it was a cough, Reaper seemed perfectly happy sipping on his black coffee. I watched the cup for a moment trying to Remember why it was so familiar until.

(flash back)

Father Please can we go to the festival????" I pleaded  my dad chuckled taking a sip of his coffee I watched wide eyed with curiosity "maybe we Will see it depend when I get back from work" he looked down at me seeing my interest on the cup he held before he passed it to me "try it I won't guarantee you will like it though" I grabbed the cup gently and took a small sip coughing at it bitter taste "EW!" I said setting the cup down looking for something to get rid of that terrible taste.

I grabbed my toast and but down on it relaxing my dad chuckled at my reaction "why woulv yew Dwinkb wat" I said my words muffled with the toast in my mouth "it's black coffee no milk no sugar just how I like it" he replied. then I heard the whirl wind of my brothers come down stairs my brothers looked at me then to dad "Pleaseeee dad can we go?" Fresh asked Error nodded in agreement to freshen question our mom giggled in the kitchen why don't I take you boys an Your father will join us later.

(flash back end)

"Geno, Geno!" I snapped out of my thoughts meeting my eyes back at Reaper who seemed a bit concerned how ever it was cut short by the smirk returning though it faltered slightly."Welcome back" I chuckled nervously "oh yeah sorry I just got lost in thought" I played it off though I couldn't stop thinking about that memory. It was the first thing I could actually remember for years since it happened.

DING

I looked down at my phone and saw I received a email from a unknown person.

Hello geno we need to have a chat meet me tomorrow under the bridge off the island at 11:00am.

I stared at the message for longer then I meant to cause Reaper got curious "Who's that about? If you don't mind me asking?" I shrugged "Oh um just my brother wanting me home" I replied hoping he buys it.

"Alright hears  your stop." Reaper said pulling in the drive way. I giggled "thank you" I said sweetly "no problem geno I'll text you later." I nodded giving him a kiss on the cheek before hurriedly getting out. I glanced back and smirked seeing his shocked expression "Now whos the flustered one" I muttered to my self in victory.
