(Reapers POV)

Geno was so moody all the time now, and I mean more then usual. He sometimes yells and starts getting upset and then other times he's super lovey dovey and won't let go of me.  Right now it was just that, I was trying to pry his arms off my waist as he tried dragging me back to the couch "Reaperrrrr Sit back down" I rolled my eyes and chuckled "babe,I need to get something to eat" I protested.

For someone smaller then me, he had a surprising grip, I finally gave in and sat back down next to him in which he would instantly cuddle in to me.

I breathed out a sigh petting his skull gently "are you gonna let me go to work tonight?" I asked. I needed a Excuse to get out of the house so I can put a end to this once and for all work was the perfect excuse.

He whined, but loosened his arms around me slightly, "Why do you have to work at night" he mumbled resting his head against me, I'll be back before You know it love" I reassured he sighed "when are you gonna quit?" He asked.

I huffed thinking before I shrugged "when I find a new job to replace it" I stated simply, it was true we couldn't just have a kid and both of us not have a job.

"Alright, Well I'll let you go now I guess.." he said letting me go "do you want me to call your brothers over?" I asked While i stood up kissing him gently, .

He shook his head "I'll be okay just make sure you'll pick up he phone if I call" I smiled "don't worry I will~" he smiled slightly before getting comfortable on the couch.

I went to the kitchen grabbing a apple, "need anything?" I asked also grabbing my keys, I had already Put the stuff I'll need in the car so I didn't look suspicious carrying a bag.

He shook his head, I waved him off and headed out, I was heading to the docks hoping it wasn't a trap.

(Genos POV)

I napped for a while Seeing I was to lazy to do anything else, but I couldn't help but have a nagging feeling that something bad was going to happen, Reaper dosnt like to tell me everything but it isn't hard to guess.

All though this time he's been more secretive then usual, running my finger over top my pointed two teeth I thought deeply. No way was he cheating on me, all though he dose come back late at night like really late but he says he had to stay late for work.

But... no Geno your being ridiculous. I thought grabbing the tv remote and turning on the news but I couldn't help but have my thoughts nag at me.

I hadn't even realized I fell asleep until I was woke up with a loud bang. "Geno we have to go!" A bit groggy still I looked to where he came in, "what? What's going on?" I noticed their was a heavy smell of blood in the air and his footsteps sounded a bit off. Resisting the instinct I sat up right looking at reaper confused, the living room was pretty dark but I saw his outline.

He stepped over with a slight limp and gently grabbed my hand pulling me up. "Wait, reaper tell me what's going on???" I said more firmer the smell of blood was almost dizzying, he quickly left somewhere else and then later came back, we also then stumbled in to the kitchen grabbing a few more things. "Come on." He said sternly and started pulling me out to the car.

I was to stunned to resist anymore and just let him lead me.

I had no idea where we are going, glancing at reaper he didn't make eye contact, but I noticed he kept wincfinh and cursing under his breath.

"Reaper what's happening???? Are you hurt???" I demand for answers, finally he turned his face briefly to me but then he continued to look out ahead "all you need to know is that we need to leave for a bit just until the chaos dies down theirs already a-" "no. Reaper, seriously?? Stop hiding things from me!" I said loudly growing more agitated.

I didn't get a response though, eventually after a long drive we pulled outside of this dark house. He let out a deep breath relaxing in the chair.

"Reaper?" I questioned his breathing was laboured he sighed loudly "it's my leg. I got shot in the leg. That's the blood you can smell" I wanted to hit him but not while he was still bleeding, if his breathing was like this I can't imagine how much blood he's loosing.

Getting out I quickly walked to his door, opening it I helped him get out the car, using me as support we managed to get to the front door "where even are we???" Pulling out a key from his pocket he shakily I unlocked it.

It smelt dusty in here I could feel a sneeze coming on but it went away. I saw a couch and quickly put him on that. Flipping on a switch the houses decor was very old fashioned and rustic. "Is their anything I can use to patch you up????" He winced propping his leg up. "You know how to remove a bullet?" I nodded "of course I do, have you forgotten what Iam??" He nodded "right. It's in the first cabinet on the top shelf" quickly walking over I found t and came back to Reaper quickly going to work."

"Their. It should stop the bleeding and the bullet wound only cracked your bone a little, lucky for you it was from a very far shot and the bullet didn't go deep."

He nodded, "now tell me what the hell is going on." "... Fine. Remember when we escaped being kidnapped?" I nodded "well I was forced to help their leader who was much like you, cursed. He knew everything about me and if I didn't comply with his needs well things would have ended badly... I tried everything to get out it, and I'm not proud of some of the things I did to protect you from them..." he went quite as if lost in thought.

Resting a hand on his good leg as a silent urge to go on he finally continued to speak "I had a plan to end this. After what happened at the house I had enough of it, ecoecually now that we are going to be a real family I Needed to end this.

So I took weeks planing I wanted everything go as needed, but I was taken by surprise. I did kill their leader but their was more then I thought their was.... their hunting for us so that's why we needed to leave."

I took a bit to process this. All of it made sense his coming home late at night, I wasn't sure how I was supposed to feel, I was grateful he did this to protect us but... he lied and didn't tell me anything for months. "Im sorry Geno. It was the only way"

Even if I was angry at him for doing this I couldn't just leave him. We've been through so much together he's sacrificed so much for me.

I locked eyes with the taller "you have to quit. Right now, and your not aloud to lie to me anymore understand?" He opened his mouth to speak "I don't care if you'd be jobless I'm not having you stay working their" I snapped he shook his head smiling "I already did Geno."

I smiled my self maneuvering my self  in to a hug careful not to hurt his leg. "I love you" I mumbled in to his sweater he petted my skull "I love you to dear. Thank you for understanding" I looked up "you better make it up to me" I said sternly he gave me a smirk "oh I'm sure I will." Glareing at him until he laughed "I'm kidding~" "yeah right a**hole" we went in to a content silence until I broke it "do you think where safe now..?" He let out a deep breath "I can't guarantee that we are but I'll do anything to keep you two safe." I smiled almost forgetting who the third was.

Reaper was right, we where going to be a real family.
