Chapter 3 - Disappearances

I opened my eyes, my room was illuminated by the light of the sunshine outside.

I checked my phone, I had 1 message. It was from SetoSorcerer.

Check the news.

Huh, what's happened?

I slowly lift myself out of my bed. I was tired but I wanted to see what had bothered Seto.

I hadn't received anything from Jordan, I guess that's good.

I flicked on the TV and turned it to the news channel. It was 9:58 and they showed the news at 10, it's not long to wait.

The two minutes lasted forever, typical. I turned the volume up when the news came on.

What did Seto want me to see? The news people started talking.

Breaking news: A 32 year old man has been reported missing this morning by a family member who was due to visit him.

Was this it? Who's gone missing?

This man goes by the name Jordan Maron and is a YouTube star known as Captainsparklez.

Jordan? Missing? What is going on here?

His mother was due to visit him this morning, when she arrived, he wasn't in the house. She reported broken plates and decorations all over the place. She tried to call him but no answer came.

If anyone knows of his whereabouts, please call this number.

I stared at the screen, speechless. The number flashed on the screen but I ignored it.

Jordan... Missing? Where could he have gone without telling anyone?

Especially after that conversation yesterday. He had said that he had one day left. What could that mean?

There have been a number of different disappearances too just been called in.

I stared at the screen as other names entered as a list onto the screen.

Jordan Maron
Adam Dahlberg
Ty Ellis
Adam Montoya
Taylor Harris
Jason Probst
Tom Cassell

SkyDoesMinecraft, Deadlox, Seananners, Antvenom, Minecraft Universe and The Syndicate Project.

They've all disappeared along with Jordan. Adam and Ty too. Where could they have gone?

Why am I not with them?

I pick up my phone straight away and call Bodil. He answers on the first ring.

"Ian, have you heard?"

"Yes, that's why I'm calling you, do you have any ideas?"

"No, I talked to Seto and he cast a spell to locate them. He couldn't. The span goes around the world, Ian."

"What does that mean?"

"It means that Seto's magic hasn't found them. His magic spells always work. Do you think..."

"No, they aren't dead, there has to be a rational explanation for this."

"Seto said that if his spell couldn't find them. They are either dead... our not in this world."

"That's impossible, they can't all have just taken a day trip to the moon for goodness sake."

"That's the only lead we have at the moment, I just hope no more go missing."

"Whatever it is, Jordan, Adam and Ty are there, and some other Youtubers. We need to find them."

"Look, it's too early to think anything yet."

"It can't be a coincidence either."

"What is your explanation then, what do you think happened Ian?"

"I don't know."

"Let's just wait until tomorrow, if they haven't been found, then we will start worrying, ok?"

"Ok."

"I'll call you tomorrow, whether they've been found or not."

"Fine, bye."

"Bye"

I press the end call on my phone.

What do I do? Seto can't find them, and he's a sorcerer. Where could they have possibly gone. They can't be dead.

~**Time Skip To Night Time**~

I lay down in my bed, on the verge of tears, I had tried to call them, but every time. I got no reply and it would go straight to that annoying voice.

I left a couple of messages for them.

I hope nothing bad happened to them, I don't want them to go through anything bad like last time.

I close my eyes and force myself to sleep.

I open my eyes, confusion on my face. This doesn't feel right. The atmosphere is wrong.

I sat up in my bed, looking around.

My computer was turned on, and the Minecraft starting screen was showing on it.

Strange, I turned it off when I went to bed.

I sat down in my chair, trying to figure out what had turned this on.

I said 10 years, did you think I was lying?

I recognised that voice. I turned around to find HIM standing behind me, an evil grin on his face.

I jumped back. He was back!

Now you get what is coming for you.

I looked behind me at the computer screen, it had started to shine, it was so bright I couldn't look directly at it.

Derp grabbed hold of me and held me in front of the light.

And with that, he threw me towards the computer. Instead of hiring the computer and destroying it. I felt nothing.

I felt as if I was falling.

What is happening to me?
