Chapter 5 - Forgotten

Captainsparklez's POV

I sat on a cobblestone wall, my feet hanging over the lava pool below me. My best friend, Derp, sat next to me.

We were on our break from working with our boss. Our bosses name is Herobrine.

I had woken up in his house, my head had ached like nobody business. I don't know why though.

That's because you lost your memory.

Oh yes, I have this annoying voice in my head claiming to be the real me. That's impossible.

I brought my hands up and a ghast rose from the lava. The red mist surrounded my hands as I ordered the ghast away.

I had special powers, I need to use them to perform a certain task in which Herobrine is going to give to me very soon.

Oh, speak of the devil, literally, Herobrine flies over to us and motions for me and Derp to follow him.

I close my white glowing eyes and float up over the lava to the destination in which Herobrine set for me.

We flew back to Herobrines castle. I held Derp on my back considering he couldn't fly.

His castle was a work of art. Obsidian walls make it pretty much unbreakable. The lava lake surrounding it gives it that royalish feeling. A Herobrine statue stood tall in the front courtyard, shooting who was in charge.

I flew through the grand gate and landed in the throne room, where my Lord Herobrine sat in his throne. Power radiating from him.

"I see you have arrived, do you want to know your task?"

I nodded, kneeling down on one knee.

Herobrines smile widened, creating a face of pure evil.

10 new characters spawned into this world today, your task is too kill them all. Except the one that goes by the name of Ssundee and a sorcerer called Seto. Do you understand your task?

No

"I do sir." I say, ignoring the voice in my head.

Good, don't let me down Sparklez

Who is Sparklez, I've never heard of him, maybe it's a nickname..

It was your character name before your mind was wiped clean.

I flew out of the castle and teleported to the overworld. This will be a long search.

You kill any of them, I swear to Notch.

"DO NOT SAY THAT NAME!"

You can't stop me

I fell to the floor, an unbearable pain would through me, causing me to cough and splutter.

I felt as if something was being yanked from me...

I blacked out due to the pain.

I opened my white soulless eyes. A figure stood in front of me. Looking very unhappy.

I stood up and examined the figure.

He looked just like me, but instead of my glowing white eyes, his had brown eyes.

"Who are you?" I asked.

The guy crossed his arms over his chest and explained...

I am your former self before you got brainwashed by Herobrine. I go by the name of Jordan Maron in a different world, but in this one I go by Captainsparklez.

Those people you have been sent to kill are my friends, and I will not let you kill them.

"Just watch me." I shout. I gather up all of my energy.

If this lunatic is a part of me, then I must regain control of ME. The guy dissipated into dust and became absorbed by me.

He can't do anything. I can always fight back, he isn't that strong.

I float up into the air, my blank white eyes shone even brighter.

"I am Herobrine's apprentice, I will do my task and NOTHING is going to stop me!"
