Chapter 21: I intend to be your last love, however long it takes

It was the wedding day and I couldn't be more scared. It was the day I was going to finally marry him, as I got ready I couldn't stop and hold my necklace that held my rings and felt Stefan with me telling me everything is alright and that I should move on from his death.

"Care!"

I turn and see Bonnie and Elena, I gasp and run towards them.

My bridesmaids were Bonnie,elena,hope, and rose, klaus chose Elijah, kol, marcel and nik.

My flower girl was Damon and Elena's daughter Julie Miranda Salvatore. And the ring barrier was Theo but will be held by freya.

"So your marrying the big bad wolf huh" -Bonnie

"Yeah But he's changed since we met back then he's more warm and kind."

"Stefan would be happy for you, I know it" -elena

"I miss him"

"Me too" -rose

"Sorry I'm late!" -hope

"It's fine hope just sit down and let these people get you ready."

We all sat on the chairs talking as we got ready, I loved it, it felt normal being with them I love every single one of them.

As I waited down the aisle I couldn't help but wished my father was here to walk me down it but he wasn't so maybe I had to walk down it myself.

"A bride can't walk herself now can she?"

I turn and see Damon standing there with his arm out as he waited for me to lock it.

"Do you really want to?"

"Yeah of course, plus it's what Stefan would want me to do also your mother too. She would shoot me with wooden bullets if I didn't" -Damon

"Mom was like that"

I laughed

"Well it's time to get you hitched to the bad wolf" -Damon

"Do you think Stefan's here?"

I asked because I wanted him to know he will never leave my heart as I held the rings around my necklace.

"Yeah, he's probably trying to kill klaus right now but he knows you love him and he's fine." -Damon

I breathed in and then out as we started walking down. As soon as we hit the people I looked down but then up and saw my love klaus mikaelson. He was my future and always will be by my side as we teach our children the good and bad. I was the happiest woman on this earth.

Finally we got to the end klaus grabbed my hand and helped me up.

I mouthed you look great as he did back to me, he had a tear as he looked at me.

It felt like we were the only two people there as we held our hands together. Soon Elijah said we need to say our vows.

"Caroline Elizabeth Forbes, I am so in love with you from the moment I walked into your house to save you to the moment I left you in that forest. As I said and will always say I intend to be your last love which I accomplished because I waited. However long it took I waited for you to walk back into my life and you did. You saved me from my own thoughts and brought 2 of the most important people in my life our children nik and rose who I adore as much as you adore them. I want to spend the rest of our lives together." -klaus

"Caroline" -Elijah

I looked at Elijah and then back to klaus

"Niklaus Mikaelson, I am so in love with you too. I'm happy we found our way back to each other even if it was because it was my time to save you, I wish us a lifetime of love and happiness as I look at our children, nik, rose and hope who I adore I see a family I always wished I had. I will love yours as I would mine. But I do wished I had a a couple decades of you chasing me around but since you finally caught me I couldn't help but feel so happy you did."

"You may kiss the bride" -Elijah

We kissed for about a minute before everyone started cheering. I wrap my arm around his neck as we look to our family and friends. Klaus leans in and whispers in my ear
