*All vampires have one extreme weakness: Blood Rose.Blood Rose is the result of roses that were mutated by the virus. They can be identified by their white petals with red splotches kind of like blood stains. Getting close to these flowers in their natural state weakens vampires and when touched with them it burns their skin. The metal used to make weapons for the Company are infused with a liquid version of blood rose. In the metal form it doesn't have any adverse effects on vampires other than when they are cut with it they can't heal for a while and it burns them. They are not physically weakened by just being around the metal. This is why Max (my OC) can be around the metal without feeling weak.
Vampire Abilities: Vampires in this roleplay might be different than what you're used to. They aren't burned by the sun and they do have a reflection. They aren't bothered by garlic either. They are faster, stronger and they're senses are heightened. They have red eyes which is a good way to differentiate them from humans. They can also see in the dark. They can retract their fangs but most don't. Sometimes vampires are born with special powers but this is extremely rare and only happens around every decade.
Vampire Weaknesses: All vampires are weakened by blood rose. Unlike usual a wooden stake to the heart doesn't kill them but it does injure them pretty badly. Killing them might seem difficult but with the weapons made from the blood rose infused metal they are a bit easier to kill. If they are wounded enough by these weapons they'll die or if they're hit in a vital spot they'll die. They turn to dust when they die. They prefer darkness because they can see better in the dark.
There are different variations and ranks of vampires. The higher the rank the tougher the vampire but also the rarer they are:
Rogues:
These aren't necessarily true vampires but they do crave human blood. Rogues are the people that were infected but didn't die. They slowly lost their humanity and their minds as well. Now they are just the husk of the person they used to be. They look horrid because they don't take care of themselves the way a human would. They don't care about hygiene at all. All they care about is finding humans and getting blood. They aren't nearly as fast and strong as vampires but they are determined and usually travel in small hoards. In big numbers they can be overwhelming and should not be underestimated. There is no way to reverse the effects of the virus so the only way to help them is by killing them.
Generic Vampire Soldiers:
These vampires are the most common tank of vampire. Usually when the squads are sent on missions these are the types they will have to deal with. Don't be fooled though, these vampires are still stronger and faster than humans. They are extremely dangerous and should not be underestimated. They proudly and confidently fight under the command of the queen.
Vampire Lieutenants:
These vampires are less common but still it wouldn't be too much of a surprise to see them. They are smarter and better at combat than the generic soldiers. They are more dangerous because of their cleverness and tricks. A group shouldn't have too hard of a time taking them down but they still shouldn't be underestimated. They are determined to please their superiors and the queen even if it cost their life.
Vampire Officers:
These vampires are the nastiest to run into besides the queen herself. They are pretty rare but occasionally groups will run into one or two at a time. They are pure evil. They won't hesitate to kill or injure just for fun. They are stronger and faster than any of the other ranks of vampires. They are highly trained killers that work directly from the Queen's orders. Since they are the highest rank they get the best blood which in turn makes them stronger. If you encounter one on your own you might as well be dead already. It's difficult for even a group to take one down.
The Queen (Queen Amulet):
She is the most powerful vampire, hence why she's the queen. She has the complete respect from almost all of her subjects. She does have one specific officer that likes to oppose her but she knows how to handle him and put him in his place. She is a wise but somewhat ruthless queen. Ever since her son ran away she's tries to keep an eye on what he was doing. She knows he's a rebel that works with The Black Star Company, but she hasn't made any moves to get him back or kill him. She truly does care about him which is why she hasn't and now that she sees what he is doing she is starting to have some doubts. She knows the vampires need blood but she is starting to have doubts about conquering humans. Seeing what her son is doing has made her think maybe humans and vampires can live harmoniously again but she has to be careful because a lot of vampires do not like that idea. However if you ever see the queen you are most likely dead. She's still ruthless and will kill you if there is even a slight threat.
