(Y/n) POV
"No guys you are doing it wrong!"
I feel my nerves begin to prick in annoyance, watching the other campers struggle and tumble over. I sigh and pinch the edges of my nose.
"Ugh! Do I have to start from the beginning!?" I shout, feeling the edges of my throat begin to sore.
"Dolf you're doing just fine, but please be more fluid in your moves. Nerf, stop hitting Preston in the dick! Preston tone down the dramatic movement. And Neil, please stop being so stiff, relax and calm down. Everyone else is doing good"
To my relief, David finally returns and gather up the campers once more. I watch silently as the instructor ushers them all back inside the mess hall.
"Dear God" I mutter under my breath.
"Doesn't get any better than that"
I jump a little out of startlement as Max joins my side snickering. I roll my eyes and offer the boy a smile.
"Finally done with David?"
The boy nods silently but ushers not another word to my shock. I accept Max's silence and trail after the rest of the camp back inside the mess hall.
I hesitantly dug into the strange soup offered for lunch, shuddering when a visible frog leg appears out of the bowl. Nikki across from you, however, had no shame digging into the strange meal in a bowl. I happily offered my soup to her. Nikki gives me an odd look.
"I'm not hungry" I politely explain to her. The girl shrugs and begins gobbling up the rest of my meal. As I get up from the table though, a small hand tugs at the sleeve of my shirt. I blink upon seeing Max gesture out the door while everybody else was still eating, I nodded. When both instructors weren't looking, we both weaseled our way out without being caught. Max begins to lead the way after we exit the door.
"So where are we heading to right now?", you ask curiously.
"Somewhere to see the horizon" the boy muttered just barely loud enough for you to hear. You silently nod your head.
Not very long after, a clearing enters between the forests. Your eyes slightly widen noticing a clear view between the trees, leading to the edge of what you assumed to be a cliff. The from the sky caused the forests under the steep edge to shine and glitter. You and Max both sit down on the cliff end, but you were still entranced by the scenery's view. Max scratches the back of his neck sheepishly.
"Um, I honestly didn't want to interrupt anything earlier, but...", your attention immediately snaps to Max's nervous nature suddenly.
"..but?"
"...Will you be my girlfriend, (Y/n)?", Max asks with slightly red cheeks. You feel your own dust a little crimson as well and giggle.
"Of course. And you'll be my boyfriend too?"
Max begins to smile, his bright green eyes lighting up in a way that reminds you of the gorgeous forests below.
"Definitely"
We both ended up leaning in for a passionate and sweet kiss. But I made sure not to get carried away, pulling back to take a breath.
"We need to head back you know" I remind, offering Max a small smile. The boy sighs and nods his head.
"Yeah, I know. Afterall, we're going to the lake after lunch"
Max stands up and pulls me up to my own two feet. I thank him and we begin our trek back to the camp, just in time to see everybody finishing up lunch and heading to their tents to change to get in the water.
I quickly head down to my own tent to change.
A little later on after changing, I decided to pay Max's tent a little visit. As I enter, Max was just about finished adjusting his swim shorts. I smirk.
"Hey Max~" I cooed.
As the boy back turned to look at me, his mouth seemed to drop. "Wow, (Y/n)", the boy gawks, "You look amazing in that"
I giggle and give Max a quick peck on the cheek. Sweet and swift.
"You ready?" I ask. The boy nods.
"Yeah, just need to get my sunglasses real quick"
After the boy grabs his bright yellow sunglasses, you end up dragging him out of the tent, eager and interested to check out the lake yourself.
