*RECAP FROM LAST CHAPTER*
"Hey mom? We're home" I walk into her room and my jaw drops when I open her door...

*REALITY*
I see my mom with my dad. They divorced when I was 13.
"Mom?"
"Hunny. Ur home. We have something we need to tell you" my dad says.
"What is it?" My mom looks at me and stands up.
"Ur father and I are getting back together. We've been going on dates for awhile and we wanted to tell the Underhill family since they're our friends. We were gonna tell everyone this evening at dinner."
"I've missed u dad." I say and hug him. Then, Jesse walks in.
"Um, Loren? Oh I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt." He says.
"Oh no ur fine Jesse." My mom tells him. Jesse nods and smile. I swear I fall in love with smile every time I see it.
"Loren take Jesse upstairs and hang out till his family comes."
"Ok dad" I take Jesse up to my room and we watch a movie. We're cuddled up and I don't know why, but I feel so safe with him now. I hear my bedroom door open and it's Maile.
"Babe?" I pretend to be asleep since it's dark in my room. Maile comes over and sighs.
"Alright fine. I'll come back tomorrow."
*NEXT MORNING*. I wake up before Jesse and get in the shower. After I'm done, I get out and get dressed.
"Hey Lor."
"Jesse! U scared me." Jesse laughs and walks up to me.
"Well, there's more that I can do." He says licking his lips.
"Kids!! Breakfast.!" My dad yells.
"Coming dad!" I yell back. I look at Jesse and smirk and push him out of my way and walk downstairs.
