First words

I get to Maile's place and walk in.
"Omg babe. I was worried sick about u." She gets up from with couch with my baby.
"Sorry I was with Jesse last nigh." She looks at me shocked.
"Wait, why?" She asked.
"Because I still love him. We talked about it and I forgave him. He held me that same way he used to before he ch-cheated." Maile's face loosens and she smiles.
"Well, I'm glad ur ok. I was just worried about u." I nod and hug her.
"Thank you for always having my back babe."
"Always." I take Ava out of her hands, and walk upstairs with Ava.
"I'm going back to him today. He's very excited." I yell down to Maile.
"I hope he doesn't make the same mistake again, or I'll actually kick his ass." I laugh to myself knowing she's right. She would kick his ass. I pack everything up, and pick Ava up again.
"U ready to see daddy babygirl?" She giggles and holds onto my index finger.
"Daddy's very happy to see u princes. He's missed his beautiful babygirl." I smile to her. She's so precious and adorable. I walk downstairs and set everything down, and walk over to Maile.
"I know it's been a day and a half, but thank you for everything baby." I hug Maile.
"Anything for u Ash."
"I love u Mai."
"I love u too bitch." I laugh and hug her again.
"When are u coming back to school?" She asks out of nowhere. I sigh and shrug my shoulders.
"I don't know yet." I say being honest.
"Maybe the end of the month." I tell her. She nods and kisses Ava on her forehead and Ava smiles. I grab Ava and Maile helps me with the stuff, and helps me carry everything to the car.
"Lemme unlock the trunk." Maile nods. I get my keys out of my purse and I unlock the car. I open Ava's car door and place her in her car seat gently.
"Need any help Mai?"
"Nah, that's everything babe." I nod and hug her.
"I'll see u tomorrow or I'll just ft u tonight." She nods and she walks up to her front door step, and I get in my car, I start it and wave to Maile. I slowly start driving away. As I'm driving, I hear Ava's cries and I pull over, walking to her side of the car.
"What's wrong baby?" I say, as I open her door.
"D-dadda."
"D-did u just?"
"Dadda." I start to cry tears of joy. I run to my side of the car and grab my phone. I turn it on and click onto contacts, I click on Jesse's name, and I call him, and he answers right away.
"Baby? U ok? Where are you?" I love how caring he is.
"J-Jesse! Ava just said ur name!"
"W-what?! She said my name?!"
"Yes baby boy she did. She said dadda." I say, still crying.
"I-I'm so happy!" He says, as his voice cracks but it in a good way if that makes any sense.
