It was George Safarov's first day on the case. He was disturbed. By what Alex Manor had showed him, there was absolutely no means of escape for the murderer to the outside of the house. Which meant that suspicion lay within the household.

The connecting door to Alice's room was the only means of escape for the murderer. Conveniently Alice as usual was in deep sleep due to the effect of sedatives medicines prescribed by the doctors.

When roused later that morning, she became extremely quiet. An expression crossed her face. It was almost like she expected it to happen.

Inspector Safarov sighed to himself and wondered when he would be able to solve a murder mystery without the help of Daniel Dublin.
Daniel, or Dan as he was generally known as was an Irish Detective.

He loved a classic murder but nothing agitated him more than an unsolved one.

George reluctantly picked up the phone and dialled Dan's number.

Alice was worried. Really worried. Though she was bed ridden she could easily feel the evil laughing.

She had tried to warn Elliot on one of his visits to her, but at that time he had merely shaken it off Saying that she was being delusional.

A few days later Elliot himself seemed very distressed but he did not tell her why.

The last time Alice had felt like this was ten years back. It was the day she had become paralyzed. It was also the day that her eldest son Jack had left the house after a fight with his father.

She had felt the very same chill, and had asked Jack to forgive Elliot one last time. But Jack having his father's determined mentality wouldn't agree.

That night the telephone beside the stairs outside her room rang. She picked it up wondering who would call at that unearthly hour.

On the other side she heard Jack's voice. He seemed drunk.
" Hey mum? Thank you for being both my mum and dad." He said. Then she heard a gunshot. It froze the life in her. She fainted and fell backwards on the stairs.

The next day it was all over the papers. Jack Manor, son of rich Manors had shot himself. That was not the reason the tabloids were so interested in the case.

An eye witness had seen Jack shoot himself. He immediately ran over to check if he was still alive. All was silent. There was no hope for the young man in front of him.

He turned around to find a pay phone in the deserted streets. There was not a soul present except the two of them. He spotted one in the corner of the street. When he came back after calling the police he realised, Jack's body was missing!!!!!

A thorough search was conducted.
Oddly enough, Jack's body was never found.....
