"What's a soulmate?"

A question we all find ourselves asking at one point in our lives. A 18 year-old girl sits in her dark room asking herself this question. Her heart just broken by a guy whom she thought would be hers forever. She sighed picking herself up off the floor.

Making her way outside she noticed how dull everything looked. How grey everything was. No color, but she was used to it by now. She had barely even known what color was if it weren't for Him.

"How do you know if someone is your soulmate"

The girl makes her way over to her car getting in before wiping her tears. He never loved me she thought as she started the car. Her face drained of color and body weak the girl pulls out of the driveway.

The red corvette she had worked her butt off to buy strolled down the streets of Los Angeles. Speeding past people who walked along the sidewalk. The music blasting from the streets along with the chattering of people talking.

The girl pulls into the small parking lot of her favorite Cafe parking her car before dragging her body out of the vehicle and to the Cafe entrance. "Ding" the bell the hung atop the door went as she opened the glass door to enter the Cafe.

She walked up to the register seeing the elder lady that owned the Cafe sitting behind the counter smiling at her. "You want the regular" she asked as the girl nodded,the lady handed her a chocolate mocha coffee drink, before she went to sit down in her normal not realising someone was on the other side already sitting there.

"Yuck chocolate is gross" the voice laughed as the girl looked up the world slowly gained its color back. The boy who sat there looked at the girl his bright blue eyes were bloodshot which meant he was probably crying. But the girl looked at him shocked and he looked at her shocked.

Both of them could see color. Everything was complete and perfect. "I'm Daniel Seavey" the boy spoke up a smile forming on his face. "Y/N Y/L/N" the girl said as a smile also crossed her face.

"I think your my soulmate" the pair said in unison laughing as they both finished the sentence. "Daniel Seavey huh" the girl questioned. "Yeah" the boy said back as the girl just smiled. "Y/N Y/L/N" Daniel said. "Yeah" the girl nodded. "I think your name would sound better as Y/N Seavey" Daniel laughed and so did Y/N.

"I think it would" she said laughing before moving over to sit next to daniel.
