Baby Maggie

Ultrasound

"So, Zoe and I are on the way for the big ultrasound! We are going to find out the gender of the baby! Zoe was so excited last night that she couldn't sleep, so she is asleep now!" Alfie turns the camera to Zoe, who is asleep in the passenger seat.

"I will see you guys sometime after the ultrasound." He turns off the camera, and pulls into the parking lot. "Zoe, wake up." He says, putting his hand on he shoulder.

"What?"

"Wake up, we are at the clinic."

"Oh, right." Zoe gets out of the car and stretches. She winces lightly and puts a hand on her lower back.

"Are you okay?" Alfie looks at her, concerned.

"Yea, just my back." She shrugs her shoulders and starts walking again. Alfie catches up with her and grabs her hand.

"I love you, little one." He brings her hand to his mouth and kisses it.

"Love you too, Alf."

"Well, the baby is growing very well, seems perfectly healty." James, the ultrasound technician, says, still looking at the screen of the machine, "Now before I tell you the gender two questions. One, what do you want, girl or boy?"

"Girl." Zoe says, she looks to Alfie for his answer.

"Really, I don't care. I just want a happy, healthy baby." He lightly squeezes Zoe's right hand. James smiles.

"Okay, question two, do you have names for your baby?"

"Maggie Elizabeth for a girl, and Caleb Sydney for a boy." Zoe says.

"Okay, your baby is a wonderful baby girl!" James says. Zoe cheers.

"Alfie this is so exciting. I love you!" She sighs happily.

"I love you too." Alfie says.

"It's a baby girl!" Zoe smiles as she says the news to the camera.

"We are naming her Maggie Elizabeth, I promise we looked at all the names and we decided on Maggie Elizabeth." Alfie looks fondly at Zoe.

"Thank you guys for being so supportive through all this!"
