Baby Maggie

Birth

"Alfie!" Zoe screams for the second time.

"I know Zoe, I am trying to find the bag!"

"It's in the closet!" Zoe shouts to him. She hears the closet door open and close.

"Found it!" He yells as he jogs towards her. He opens the front door as she lets out another yelp, "Come on little one we are going to the hostpital."

On the way to the hospital Alfie called his parents, Zoe's parent's, and Joe. Joe started driving towards Brighton as soon as he heard the news.

When Alfie and Zoe got to the hospital the doctors were worried, it was only twenty four weeks. The baby was going to be born premature and there was nothing the doctors could do about it. It was because of Zoe's body, she was too small for the baby. They baby could be born with serious lung problems, it could have brain problems, and there is a chance it might die.

After the baby is born, both it and Zoe are put in intensive care.

Alfie's parents get to the hospital first. They are there to hear the news.

The doctor tells them that there is a chance that both Zoe and her baby could die. He tells them that they are doing everything they can, but there is a forty percent chance of Zoe living and a thirty percent chance of Maggie, the baby, living.

Alfie doesn't hear anything else the doctor says. He hears a high pitched ringing in his ears and then he feels his head hit something.

He just fainted.

When Joe and the Sugg parents get their they recive the terrible news. Alfie is sitting in the cafe, a cup of now cold coffee in his hands. He is staring off into space. Joe tries to talk to him, but it doesn't work. They have to call Marcus.

When Marcus arrives, with Niomi in tow, he won't talk then either.

They all have to wait.

They have to wait for news of Zoe.

They have to wait for news of Maggie.

They have to wait for Alfie to talk again.

Waiting rooms are never a happy place.
