Zero’s POV:
“Zero, my dear grow quickly and feed on your hate. You want to kill me, Shizuka Hio, don’t you? Hehe I want to look at you…your eyes filled with hate…are mine. I’m so happy that you and I are now tied with an unbreakable bond.” That woman told me after she turned me and killed my family. I woke up in cold sweat. It’s a game.
Night Class:
Kaname is in the library staring at a chessboard with pieces on it. ‘Kaname, Maria says she can’t sleep in her dorm because she is too nervous…” Takuma says. “I’d like to leave the Moon Dorm…to keep things nice in the Night Class. I heard there is a building that was used as a temporary dorm for the Night Class. I’d like to stay there.” Maria asks. “Fine. I’ll talk to the headmaster about it.” Kaname says arranging the chess pieces. “Is that really ok?” Takuma asks. “Thank you! I’m so happy!” Maria says skipping along.
Mizuki’s POV:
“The ball?” Yuuki asks. “You forgot?” Yori asks. “Um…I don’t think it’s that interesting right now… I’m worried about the exams right Zero?” Yuuki says blushing. “Huh? What? Oh…yeah.” Zero says looking around. ‘Zero…you ok? You look worried.” I ask him with my telekinesis. “It’s that new vampire…” He tells me in his mind. “I knew you forgot. The class with the lowest score works at the ball.” Yori clarifies. “Yuuki Cross I’m worried. You always lower our class’s score…” Class rep says looking annoyed. “Class rep that’s mean…” Yori says standing up for Yuuki. “Yeah take a chill pill. I’ll make sure she studies hard!” I say holding Zero’s hand. “The Ball…is a official event! Both Classes attend… And if I don’t dance with Ruka I’ll hate you forever…” Class rep says angrily. “I better study like hell…” Yuuki says worried. “Ask your father for a tutor.” Yori says. I heard 2 vampires in the distance. Zero heard it too. “What’s wrong?” Yuuki asks. “Stop! Don’t go that way!” I hear Takuma say. “The Day Class is still there! Maria!” Takuma yells running after Maria. ‘This might get dangerous.” Takuma says looking at the crowd of human students. “It’s ok. I just want to see the café terrace. Hehe this is fun!” Maria says. Zero’s eyes got wide when he heard her name. “Maria!” Takuma says. “Oh no. Why is the Night Class…? Yuuki says going to run after them. Zero grabs her arm and stands protectively in front of me. “Stay away from that new girl. The vice president can control her.” He says. “Ok…” She says. Oh no not…!
Yuuki’s POV:
Hanabusa hugs me from behind. “Yuuki this is the 2 time we have met during the day. <3” He says in my hear. “Aido…Aido let go!” I say. The girls totally freak out. “Kyaaa!!! Aido is here too! Nooo! Idol is hugging her!” The scream. “Hehheh…those girls will be crazy with jealousy then bully you…Yuuki…” Aido whispers in my ear. “Hehe…!” He giggles as he lets me go. The girls glare at me. “Can I talk to you Aido?” Zero asks. “Oh, well I need to speak with you too.” Aido says. “What? Zero—“ I say but he cuts me off. “Yuuki. Be carful around Maria.” Zero says as he walks away with Aido. “Don’t start fighting!” I yell after them. “Right. I know.” Zero says. “I’m worried…” Yori says. “He’ll be ok. I think…” I say. “No I’m worried about you two.” She says as the girls glare at Mizuki and me. “Sorry Yori hold our books!!” We say as we run for our lives. “Hey! What we’re you doing holding Zero’s hand! And why was Idol hugging you!!” The say running after us. Mizuki is a fast runner. She got away. I jump on a stair railing. I breath out relieved. “You’re being chased too?” Takuma says kneeling on the floor. “Where’s Maria?” I ask not seeing her anywhere. “She ran off while the Day Class girls chased me…” He says. “She got away… you have a hard job as the vice president of the Night Class having to do these things…” I say still catching my breath. “Well Kaname…I mean if he asked…everyone in the Night Class would do it… Pureblood vampires have countless powers. One of them is to make other vampire do their bidding. But even though Kaname seems superior, he doesn’t use his power that way… So I take care of things instead.” He says sighing. “Ichijou…” I say lovingly. That’s so nice.
Zero’s POV:
“When you’re with me the girls are to scared to come any further. This is convenient. And lonely… So…?” Aido asks. “Is Maria related to that woman?” I ask. “That woman?” He asks. “Shizuka Hio.” I say. “How rude…to speak of the pureblood without using honorifics…but I understand she killed your family. But they did share ancestry long ago.” Aido says. “Is it because her appearance has changed that no one could find her for 4 years?” I ask him. “I don’t know. Only the purebloods know of there powers they possess. What is most important is how you feel about her. And I want to hear it from you. Only you know…because you have a blood bond with her.” Aido says. I was surprised. How does he know that? Did Mizuki…? No she wouldn’t… she’s the only one other than the chairman and Kaname that knows. I turn around and there she was. Maria… She sees us and walks away. I go to the headmaster’s office. On my way I see Mizuki. She looked as though she’d been crying. “What’s wrong?” I ask her pulling her into my arms. “He…Kage wanted to go back to the woods…I’ll miss him…he said he would come back to see me from time to time…but he didn’t say how long…” She said sniffling. “He’ll come back. He loves you. And if he loves you as much as I do he’ll come to your call.” I tell her. She went back to her room. I open the door and the chairman is trying to teach Yuuki math. “Oh! I’m glad you’re here.” He greeted me. “Zero?!” Yuuki says surprised. “Please tutor Yuuki. It’s my job to patrol during exams. It’s ok you don’t have to.” He says putting on his coat. “I’ll help.” I say pulling up a chair. ‘Thanks! Did you come to talk to me?” He asks as he walks to the door. “No…never mind.” I say. “Ok.” The headmaster says as he leaves. I help Yuuki for 2 hours and she still doesn’t understand. “You made the same mistake.” I say. “Really?” She asks fixing it. “Um, this was…then…use this number right?” She asks as I hold my neck. “Right…” I say. “Your neck. You we’re holding it before too.” Yuuki says. “The place…where she bit me…is throbbing…there’s never a night I don’t think about. That woman toyed with my brother and me. I was able to live on because--” I say stoking my tattoo. “What’s wrong today Zero? You’re so complaint. I’m worried. Or are you only sleepy? I’ll make some coffee…” Yuuki says getting up. I stand behind her and hold her hand. “Really what’s wrong?” She asks.
Night Class:
“That body that name…at first I was puzzled…on how to respond.” Kaname says playing with the chess pieces. “Oh? I was trying not to embarrass you.” Maria says. “It was very offensive. You only wanted to play with us.” He says. “Play a game? When did you grow up and look at things conscientiously? We are both purebloods.” She says walking away with her masked servant.
Yuuki’s POV:
“Zero?” I ask him. “Do you want my blood?” I ask as he squeezes my hand. “I was able to live because you were with me, Yuuki.” Zero tells me. He lets me go. ‘Zero…” I say as he walks away. “Don’t forget what I told you. I’m going to my room.” He says. “Ok. Good night Zero. Thanks for teaching me.” I say as he leaves.
Zero’s POV:
I walk down the stairs and there she was. “So…you can sense me. Because there is a bond between us. It fills my empty heart now…” Maria says as I grab her and point my gun to her heart. “You…finally came to kill me.” She says as I glare at her.
