Yuuki’s POV:

I take a shower to wash off the blood. I dress in my uniform since I don’t have a dress and am doing my job a Guardian. I put on the gauze to cover up Zero’s bite marks. “Yuuki are you ready?” Yori ask coming in. She was wearing a cute dress. “You’re going to wear your uniform? Even as staff we can take turns dancing.” Yori says she is holding a wrapped box. “Yeah, but the chairman told me to take care of security.” I say slipping on my sash around my arm. “What a cruel father. He doesn’t want you to have fun?” Yori say. “He’s not mean…” I say. “Here this is for you.” She says handing me the box. “Who is it from?” I ask her and she shrugs. I read the card. It says it’s from Kaname.

Zero’s POV:

I stand in from of the ballroom. I hit my head on the pillar I’m leaning on. You’re my servant. You can’t kill me… I remember she saying. I only calmed down after I drank Yuuki’s blood. “It’s disgusting.” I tell myself. “What’s disgusting?” The headmaster asks suddenly appearing to my side. “Thanks for doing security. Yuuki is helping too. Mizuki will after she helps with the music.” He says. Even he is dressed up for this thing. “If you ordered me to…I can not refuse.” I say. “So dutiful…by the way Maria Kurenai has stopped attending class…Do you know why?” He asks me. “You don’t know about it…headmaster?’ I ask him. “Sorry…I don’t that’s why I asked you.” He says smiling. Yuuki walks toward us wearing a pink dress and a ribbon with a rose tied around her neck. “Oh, Zero! I didn’t know you were here already!” She says. “Aww <3! Yuuki’s all dressed up! Dance with daddy later! <3” He asks Yuuki. “Ok…later then…maybe.” She says waving to the chairman. “Let’s go in. We’re on duty, but we should have some fun too.” She says happily. “I thought you weren’t looking forward to this dance.” I say. “I wasn’t?” She says smiling. The hall was decorated nicely. There we’re some couples dancing already. “Good. It seems like everything is fine right now.” Yuuki says. “Zero, come here!” She says pulling my jacket and fixing it so it looked nice. “A guy should wear his uniform correctly! At least for to night.” She says fixing my tie now. I glare at her. “What? Don’t argue with your partner. Good and…a rose in the pocket for the boys. There. You would look so good if you only smiled!” She says smiling at me. “I don’t get it…why are you smiling?” I ask her. “Well… I want you to smile too.” She says walking away. Mizuki walks in wearing a beautiful dress. The room goes silent and everyone stares at her. She is beautiful. Well she’s always beautiful but the dress compliments her very nicely. She walks up to me. “Hey sorry I can’t help out right now I’m helping with the music. But will you dance with me maybe?” She asks her eyes lighting up. “Sure…maybe later.” I say looking at her all over. I can’t believe she would like a guy like me. After all I’m a demon and she’s an angel. A pureblood and a level e shouldn’t be together. She walks over to the musicians and pulls out a cello and the band starts to play.

Yuuki’s POV:

I walk over to Akatsuki. “Excuse me, Kain? Kaname isn’t here?” I ask him. “The dorm president is on the terrace.” He says. “Thank you!” I say running to Kaname. Ruka glares at him. “What? I shouldn’t have told her?” He asks Ruka. “It doesn’t matter.” I heard her say.

Ruka’s POV:

I whish Kaname liked me and not that human girl! “Ruka…I’ve done all my work for the ball! Will you dance with me?” A strange boy asks me. “Do it for goodwill. The headmaster says so.” Akatsuki says. “Ugh…no way! I don’t even no him! I won’t dance with some strange boy!” I say angrily.

Yuuki’s POV:

I find Kaname looking over the balcony. “Kaname!” I say. “Hello Yuuki…I’m happy you wore the dress.” He says. “Yes…I…want to thank you. For the dress! Thank you so much!” I say bowing. “What’s wrong Yuuki? Why such a strange face.” Kaname asks me. “Huh?” I ask hiding my face with my hands. ‘I was joking. You look lovely.” Kaname tells me. “That dress suits you.” He says and I blush. “Will you dance with me? In return…?” Kaname asks taking my hand. He pulls me closer and we start to dance.
