Chapter 1: Black Wedding

April 26, 1999

Stephanie's POV
The Undertaker had abducted me and then I found myself in the ring tied to his symbol. The Ministry of Darkness stood aside to prevent people from attempting to save me. Paul Bearer stood to my right and Taker to my left. Paul held some sort of open book in one hand and a microphone in the other.

Paul said into the mic, "Dearly unbeloved, we gather here this evening to join Stephanie Marie McMahon in the unholy wedlock with the Lord of Darkness. And tonight, Stephanie Marie McMahon will step from the light on this evil, cesspool, mortal world into the sanctuary of eternal darkness. Keeping this in mind, do you, Stephanie Marie McMahon, accept the Purity of Evil and take the Lord of Darkness as your Master and your spouse?"
I said with a really upset look in my eye and a slightly shaky voice, "I do." A tear ran down my face. There was nothing I could do to get free from this, and I knew it.

Paul turned to the Undertaker and asked, "Lord of Darkness, is it your intent to accept Stephanie Marie McMahon; her body, her mind, her soul, and even her breath unto yourself and allow her to bear your offspring?" Mark leaned over and said into the mic, "I do."

Just then, Big Show came down the ramp and attempted to get through the Ministry to save me. Taker smacked Big Show with the baseball bat taken from their scuffle with Ken Shamrock before Big Show had come running down the ramp. Big Show fell down; the Ministry kicked him aside and out of the ring. Taker's hood came off, but he put it back on and moved back to my left side.

Paul said into the mic, "By the power vested in me by the Lord of Darkness, I now pronounce you as the unholy union of Darkness. You may now kiss your bride!"

I heard glass shatter; that meant that Stone Cold Steve Austin was here. He quickly ran down the ramp and jumped into the ring from between the ropes. The Ministry tried to hold him back from trying to save me; that went on for a while. The Undertaker grabbed Stone Cold by the throat and gave him a choke slam. The Ministry kicked Stone Cold out of the ring while Taker moved back over to me. He pulled back his hood and his eyes rolled back. He leaned down and kissed me with eyes closed. I was shocked and my eyes widened slightly as his lips touched mine.

"My dear Stephanie, there is no one to save you now; I have great things for us to do... you are mine..." said the Undertaker, with an evil smile.

I was untied from the Undertaker's symbol and Taker led me backstage. Why did the Undertaker abduct me and force me to be his bride? I didn't know if my father knew about this...
