Undertaker's POV
I woke up to the smell of breakfast being cooked downstairs in the kitchen. Stephanie wasn't beside me; she must be the one down there. I put on a pair of shorts and walk downstairs to find Stephanie cooking some eggs, bacon, biscuits, and hash browns. But she doesn't know I'm there.I snuck up behind Stephanie as she was cooking and put my arms around her waist. "Mark! Very funny, sneaking up on me like that. We sure did have a good time last night," said Stephanie. "Yes we did," I replied. Stephanie finished cooking and made a plate for each of us. We talked for a bit while we ate. "I have a feeling that my idiot brother and mom are gonna try to get me back, Mark," she said. "We'll be ready for them if they do," I said as we put away our dishes. "Maybe we should practice our powers today," I said. "That sounds like a good idea," said Stephanie. We then went to change our clothes. Stephanie and I went outside to the backyard to practice our magic skills. I waved my hand and four empty metal barrels appeared.
"Okay, first, we'll be practicing fire-based magic," I said. I closed my eyes and raised my arms over my head. When I brought them back down, flames shot out of the ground, making the barrels "hop". "Now you try, Stephanie," I said. She did the same thing I did. "Well, that's easy. Now you try throwing fire. Just do it as if you were throwing a ball," I said. A flame appeared in Stephanie's hand and she pulled her arm back, then she threw the fire ball. She alternated between hands, throwing the fire balls in rapid succession. "Well, well, you are quite the fast learner, Stephanie," I said. "Thanks, Mark. Can we practice more skills?" Stephanie asked. "Sure we can," I said.
I waved my hand and two of the barrels disappeared. Two black cats appeared on top of the remaining two barrels as well. "This next ability I'm gonna teach you is my Death's Grip choke slam; it was the same method I used to kill your father." "Great idea to choose cats since I'm not really a cat person," said Stephanie. I walked over to one of the cats; it was sort of startled at first, but I silently said, "Shhh... it's ok..." and stroked it. The cat purred and I suddenly grabbed it by the neck. Surprisingly, it didn't try to fight too much. My grip on the cat's neck tightened as my eyes turned black and my veins glowed purple. I threw the cat down on the ground; my eyes and veins returned to normal. "That is my most powerful magic ability, Stephanie. With it, you will instantly kill anything that crosses you." Stephanie walked up to the other cat; this one was more feisty. But she was able to kill it the same way. "The last magic power we will be practicing today is summoning lightning and thunder. It is a somewhat gloomy day, so that's a good thing," I said. I raised both my hands toward the skies and thunder could be heard. Lightning came down and struck the two barrels. Stephanie copied this and was successful. I waved my hand and the barrels disappeared. "Very good, my dear Stephanie. I will show you some other skills later, but for now, it is time for the both of us to rest," I told her. "You're right, Mark. I'm getting a bit tired as well. We can both nap for a bit and then I'll go make us some lunch," she replied. I kissed her on her cheek and we went back inside, closing the door behind us. We then went upstairs to our rooms so that we could rest before lunch...
