Chapter 7: A Walk Among the Dead

May 26, 1999- evening

Undertaker's POV
Stephanie and I arrived at the graveyard and I touched the lock on the gate, causing it to disappear. We walked through the gate hand in hand. I waved my free hand and the lock appeared back on the gate.

"It is quite beautiful, Mark, with the moonlight shining and the quiet breeze," said Stephanie. "Yes it is, my dear Stephanie. Many souls fall at my feet under my power. I take them, and they end up here along with the body...", I said. "You've taken my soul, my Lord. I was really upset about it at first, but after you revealed what my father was really doing, I was happy that you took me for yourself and made me your bride," she said.

Stephanie and I walked slowly amongst the graves. Vince was gone, so we didn't have anything to worry about. I was happy that Stephanie would be mine for eternity; I loved her more than anything. We stopped next to a black marble mausoleum and the moonlight shone directly on the side of it.

"I love walking here at night with you, Mark. It's really calming to me," said Stephanie. "I feel the same," I said. "Why did we stop here?", Stephanie asked. "Let me show you the dark side, my Lady of Darkness," I said with an evil smile...
