The Sweaty Dilemma

Charlotte was right. Mrs. Brown does make us do gym class on the first day. Yay.
"Hello, I am Mrs. Brown, and I will be your gym teacher this semester. I want you to try your hardest and to participate.", Mrs. Brown said, monotonous. She continued, "Today we will be playing dodge ball, to get you started." Yay! Dodgeball is one of my favourite sports. If it classifies as a sport.
So we start playing dodgeball, but what I find shady is that Tiana and Josie were whispering to their teammates and looking at Natalie. Weird. At least all my friends are on the same team, so we can back each other up.
"Guys am I the only one who thinks that's a tad fishy?", Natalie asks the Four-mation.
Fiona replies,"Yeah I find it weird that they're just whispering and looking at Nat like that."
I advise, "Let's just avoid them."
"Yeah", Victoria agrees. But I have a really bad feeling about this.
So the coach blew the whistle, and I now know why Tiana and Josie were whispering. Because the whistle blew, and all (and I mean ALL) of the balls from the other team flew directly at Natalie. What. On. Earth???? You can mess with me, and I'll ignore you. But when you start messing with my friends or family, THAT'S when I can't just ignore it.
When Nat got smacked in the head by one, everyone on the other team, and even some on our team laugh. How could they?! But Mrs. Brown isn't paying attention at this moment so Natalie walks off the court. I go over to her. So did the rest of the four-mation.
"What did they do THAT for?!", Victoria asks with anger.
"They have some nerve", Fiona seethes.
"I don't know, but I really want to slap them right now." Natalie replies.
"You and us all. That was so uncalled for. You did nothing to them. I'll talk to them. You too." I say, wanting to put and end to this before it starts. I know it was just a game of dodgeball, but I have a feeling that that was their way of putting a target in Nat's back.
The rest of the day goes by as all first days of school do. Teachers welcome you, they tell you all about their subjects, etc, etc. So then it was time to go home. I get on the bus, middle row, sat down, and listened to music. My favourite band is Imagine Dragons, so I listened to a bunch of their songs. So then the bus arrives at my stop, and my sister and I walk home. We talk about our first days at school.
"These girls were being so rude to Natalie. They were targeting her in gym." I explain the whole gym incident. And I explain the whole homeroom incident too.
"Really?" Charlotte asks, shocked. She continued, "Are those the girls you were telling me about? The rude people?"
I tell my sister pretty much everything about school so she knows who Tiana and Josie are.
"Those are the ones." I reply. "They can pick on me all they want, but as soon as they start on my friends and family, that's when I do something." I care about my friends a lot, so don't go after them.
"If it keeps happening, tell the principal." Charlotte says. She knows what to do because she dealt with bullying a lot when she was in my grade. She's in grade twelve now, though.
"I will."

We get in the door, and I go straight to my room. I text Natalie:

Hey! How are you?

She replies within 5 minutes.

Hoii! I'm good. It was only a few jokes. U?

Yeah I'm fine. They normally just pick on someone for a day and move on anyway.

Yeah. True.

Text u later?

Ya! Ttyl!!!!!!!! Xo!!!!!!!!!

Lol!! :)

I decide to go on Snapchat. Funny filters are the best. But then I see Tiana's story. And it isn't nice.
