Chapter 10

Shelby's POV

Today I'm taking Gracey to subway for lunch, then we are going to the mall.

I grab the letter she wrote me and I dial her number.

S: Hey it's Shelby can I come pick you up for lunch?

G: Yeah! My address is ____!

S: Okay be there in 10!

I put on a tight black crop top, jean shorts, and black toms. I put a anchor necklace around my neck.

Then I did my makeup and did beach waves on my hair.

I arrived at Graceys house and we left to subway.

"How old are you?" I asked

"10"

"That's cool."

-At Subway-

Gracey ordered meatball marinara sub and I got the new one with avocados in it.

We ate for about 15 minutes and then went to the mall.

I bought her 3 new beanies, 2 croptops, and a pair of vans.

We got matching coral toms and shirts that say

She's my bestfriend and it points to each other.

"I had fun!" she said

"I'm glad! text me later! bye!"

Then she went inside.

I went back to the hotel and I walk in and Shawn's talking to some girl.

"Hey babe" he kisses my lips

"Hey, whos this?" I ask

"My cousin Jezaelyn, call her Jezzy."

"Oh ok"

I smile because I thought he was cheating, but he's not.

"She's going to be on the tour with us!" Shawn says

She gets a room for her and Lox.

Shawn and I just cuddle and watch Oculus. Every time a scary part would come up he would hold me tighter.

He puts his head to my temple and whispers

"I'm glad that you are mine and I love you so much."

"I'm also glad your mine, please stay, stay with me forever and ever, I love you to Mendes."

He grabbed my hand and intertwined them together, and then I fell asleep to his heartbeat.

"We are done, over, now leave!" I say

"No.. its not what it looks like.." Shawn says

"Its okay I love you more.. Then Shawn ever did" Taylor says to me

I wake up sweating and practically crying.

"You okay babe." Shawn asks

"Yeah just a nightmare"

I fell back asleep in his arms. I feel safer than ever.

Shawn's POV

Shelby woke up sweating and crying.

I just held her even tighter, but anyways I'm glad my cousin came along. I haven't seen her in a year.

Its great to finally catch up with her.

I grabbed my phone and took a picture of Shelby on me and posted it to Twitter with caption

"@shawnmendes: cuddling with my princess. @shelbynicole935"

I put my phone back down and went to sleep.
