20 | Playtime with Nightwing

         [ J O N T H A N's POV ]

Since I must stay for two days in the Wayne Mansion, I spend most of my time with Alfred and Dick Grayson, who is Nightwing.

Damian Wayne and Bruce Wayne, always are out and since I only used to have Damian by my side. I decided to get to know the entire Batfamily.

Currently it was early in the morning, Robin and Batman are out and I was with Dick and Alfred playing truth or dare together. Alfred was giving us snacks while me and Dick were playing.

Me: Truth or dare!

Dick: Truth!

Me: Is it true that Starfire is your current and future Girlfriend?

Dick: Ahh, I knew you would ask this question! Mmm, Starfire is a great Fighter and a wonderful woman. I wish we would be forever together, and I think we do. And yes, she is

Me: That's awesome. She is quite pretty and kind, she suits you

He smiled, raised his hand and patted my hair. I enjoyed this, because his hand was big, warm and very soft. I smiled as well.

Dick: Thanks buddy. Now then, truth or dare?

Me: I will also go with Truth

Dick: Alright, when was the first time you ever felt like a Superhero?

Me: Wow, a great common questiom from Nightwing. Hmmm...when I first met Damian, he came to my window and literally took me in as a distraction instead of a partner. But that immidiately changed, after I helped him for a bit, he saw me as a Partner and we both began fighting simple or sometimes harsh crimes together as Super Sons. I guess, when we both became Super Sons, I felt like a true Hero

Dick: Somehow when hearing that Damian took you as a distraction, is not even suprising me. But...I think he trusts you more now and sees you as a Partner and a Friend

Sometimes I wish he would see me more then just a casual Friend.

Dick: But...now that I think about, didn't Damian have a Girlfriend?

I slowly looked up with a surprised expression, Dick was only playing around with these cards as he talked.

Dick: However I heard that she lied to him, about being a Spy then he broke up with her inorder to bring you back. Is that true?

He finally looked up, met my eyes and I gulped, lowering my gaze.

Me: Y-yeah...that's true. She...was a Spy working for Damian's Mother, Talia al Ghul

Dick: But...why didn't he figure that out sooner? That isn't like Damian at all, I'm surprised. Aren't you?

Me: No...I believe love brings you to do stuff you never actually believe in ever doing or....makes you forget stuff. In Damian's case, he probably forgot that his Mother is someone who wants him back deperately, he was truly in love with that girl but...I somehow blame myself for their Break Up. Yet Damian still denies it, whenever I blame myself

Dick: Because it isn't your fault. She probably never liked him from the beginning, even if she did, she no longer deserves his love

Me: But...she was his first true love, that must have hurt him

Dick: Damian has been through worse, I don't think that hurt him too much. Besides, he is a strong kid, he can handle it. Not everyone has luck when it comes to love or relationships, not even me at the beginning

I once again looked up with this time a rather sad expression. Dick seemed a bit sad, yet still smiled. But did not face me or look at me.

Dick: I once dated Barbara Gordon, you know Batgirl. Eventually we broke up and she went off with several other guys, I was kinda hurt but...I believe my new love, Starfire, is the one for me. I'm much happier with her now and she is a very kind woman

Me: I'm glad to hear that, you definitely deserve the best

He chuckles smiling. He pats my head once again, before standing back up and stretching out his hand, for me to grab. I look at his hand, then at him. Smiling still, he says...

Dick: It's about time we get some fresh air, why do you think?

I agreed, by nodding and accepting his offer. I grab hid hand and stand up, he lets my hand free and we race towards the exit door. Nearly crashing into Alfred on the way, but Dick jumped above Alfred and made a roll, while I just fly up and when landing, I noticed Dick passing me. He smirked and was about to reach the door, when I fly up in the air and bolted towards him. I passed him, made a funny face to him which made him laugh and when reaching the door, it opens and I scream because Batman and Robin appear. They see us and Batman moves out of the way, and I crash into Robin, making both of us fly down these little stairs and on the stoned ground.
I groaned in pain, then looked at Robin. He sat up, and spit a piece of grass in his mouth, then glares at me. I chuckle it off with a awkward laugh. Then hide my face from his glare with my cape.
