Chapter 6: Falling In Love Pt. 1

2 weeks later

A few weeks have gone by and life is going good. I'm just a little concerned for Kristine and her weird field things that go around her sometimes randomly. We've called Jason about it, but he's just been still to busy unpacking from his move.

Kristine hasn't told our parents yet, and I'm afraid she hasn't told me everything either. Right now I'm on my way on a double date with Julia, Ben, and Kristine in my truck. Ben and Kristine drove there together.

We're going to a restaurant named......Carlitos Gardel I think. Obviously Ben and Kristine have been there. I never knew they did... Hmmm, whatever. I hear its an Italian restaurant. I love Italian.

Julia has a car so shes gonna drive there by her self. I'm only a couple blocks from the restaurant. I've been thinking allot about this possible relationship with Julia. What if she lets me down like Tina did? That's why I don't want to get to attached to her at the moment.

5 minutes later

I now arrived at the restaurant. I parked and got out of my car and went in. It started raining that evening actually quite hard. It was really warm inside and fancy. I than saw Julia, Ben, and Kristine over at a table laughing.

I walked over and putted a big grin on my face. "Hey guys!", said Sam pulling out and sitting in his chair. "Hey Sam!", they all said with excitement. Julia looked amazing with that type of dress on.

"Thats a pretty dress you have on", said Sam winking his eye at Julia. Julia smirked and said, "Thank you! I got it for my 17th birthday", replied Julia.

"So.....you guys haven't been here yet have yuh?", asked Ben with a smile to Sam and Julia. "No. We actually haven't. First time", replied Sam. Ben started getting worried just a bit if the employees would recognize him from the incident with the restaurant.

Than the waiter came to our table and gave us menus and asked what we want for beverage. "Coke", said Sam. "Coke", said Julia. "Dr. Pepper", said Ben. "Pepsi", said Kristine. "Thank you", said the waiter writing on the list.

"Well, I wonder how Sam is doing with his shitty unloading in his new house", said Ben smirking. "Him and I haven't talked in awhile, but he did say he found some cute girl that showed up", replied Sam scratching his head.

"Haha. About time he's found someone. Been forever", said Ben. "Yeah ha! I wonder what she looks like", said Julia. "Probably like his favorite singer: Miley Cyrus", said Sam giggling.

30 minutes later

After about 30 minutes of eating our food we started talking again.

Suddenly Ben saw a employee that he saw when the incident happened with the electricity. "Ummm can Kristine and I get some air?", asked Ben trying to smile.

"Ok sure", replied Sam feeling curious. So than they both walked out and it was only me and Julia. "So tell me more about yourself, Sam", said Julia resting her arms on the table.

"Well........hmmm.....I'm good at basketball. I love music. My favorite song is "What will you do?", by Casey Darnell. I'm not the biggest social guy", replied Sam smiling. "Thats cool!", said Julia. "Theres allot more. But some of it is emotional for me to talk about it", said Sam looking down at the table.

"Really? You want to tell me?", asked Julia looking concerned. "Eh.... Well theres this one story which I've been trying to figure out ever since I was 4 years old at the time. I don't remember much but my mom and dad has this recording of their lost baby of when he got taken", replied Sam looking into the distance starting to feel a tear.

"I'm so sorry that happened. Tell me about it", said Julia starting to rub Sam's back and cuddling him.

Meanwhile outside of the restaurant

"Kristine, we shouldn't come here. Theres people here from when the incident happened", said Ben feeling scared. "Oh Ben calm down!", said Kristine slapping Bens butt.

Ben looked over and smirked. "I just don't want them to catch me and know that I was the electricity guy that one day. "Hey babe, if they get you, I got your back. You know I have these force field things that come randomly ever now and than. I'm still trying to control it", replied Kristine looking at her hands.

"If only there was someone to help us with our powers. Jason is busy as hell. He can't help right now", said Ben. "We'll find a way", replied Kristine holding Bens hand. "You tell anyone about that day?", asked Ben looking at Kristine. "No, I only told my brother that I can create fields. Nothing else I promise", replied Kristine smiling.

"Good. I just don't want us to get in trouble, or mainly me", said Ben. Suddenly Ben felt a hand on his face from the side. He turned and Kristine put both her of hands on his face. "You wont get trouble. I...love you. Always", said Kristine kissing Ben on the lips.

Meanwhile in the restaurant

"So thats what happened to Jake", said Sam putting his hand on his face. I have never really told anyone outside of the family about Jake. "I.....I'm sorry sweetie", said Julia feeling almost a tear. "Yeah. That's one of the reasons of my wipeout the other day at the beach while surfing. I started thinking about it to much and lost my concentration", replied Sam.

"You were awesome though. Best person I've seen with surfing", said Julia patting Sam on the shoulder. I feel....my feelings getting stronger for this girl. There has been none other but this one. It's a totally new feeling.

"Heh thanks but trust me, I'm not the best", replied Sam giggling. "Well to me you are!", said Julia with a huge smile.

Well about a few minutes later we headed out for the night and said we would do this again sometime but somewhere different. Things have escalating with me and Julia lately. Theres times I just....sometimes can't breathe when I talk to her. If my feelings have been increasing at this rate, than theres no doubt I would eventually marry her in the future.
