Hi again. Chapter one, coming up! Enjoy!

Hi. I am (Y/N). I was (Y/N). Not anymore... but that's a long story. In fact, that's the story you're reading. This world was not kind to me, nor were many of its people either, come to think of it. There were a few who I loved very dearly. Those ones I spent my waking hours with after... after I left the ones I didn't love, and who didn't love me back. I'm glad I met those people, even if it means I ended up here.

Not much happens here, which might be a good thing. No light for me to see the horrors of the world, no sound for me to hear the screams of the dying, no smell for me to breathe in the odour of rotting corpses, no taste to have a metallic tang of blood in my mouth, and no touch to be too cold or too warm. Just nothing. Nothing is here, and here is nothing. And that, my friend, is indeed a good thing. There are no worries here. Only rest. And rest I shall.

But, I am also obligated to tell my tale to someone. Well, I'm not telling you. I'm writing it. I write down my entire life, and I send it away, and then I'm done. Then I can rest.

That brings up another point. I have never rested. First no one let me, and then I didn't want to. And then, something happened. One big event changed it all. I say that, or write it, but in all honesty, it didn't change much. No one died, no one was irreparably injured, and no one had to move away. Thanks to me.

But I won't take all the credit. Everyone chipped in. In fact, I didn't do much. I just made sure no one ended up dead. And stemming from that, I'm sure no one was hurt badly enough to be mamed for life, and with only me gone, no one had any reason to move away. In my book, that means all's well and good in the world.

But, as the title to this chapter indicates, this is but a small introduction. Just a small introduction, and it shall remain small. I have disclosed plenty information as it is, but let me leave you with a small question that you will be asking yourself while you are reading through these scribblings of a person who will likely not do much from now on except write: Where am I?

Now I think that's enough for one chapter. You'll find out everything in time. Time to delve into this story, wouldn't you say?
