a serious update (wow!)

alright i know i'm always asking "why do i like this band anyways!!1!1"

but in light of the recent articles about michael & mental health and ashton & alcoholism

i just wanna say

this is why i love this band

because they've always been willing to speak whats on their mind and talk about what's important to them

a lot of times artists will just blow over that stuff and only want to talk about the music

but 5sos use their platform to talk about what needs to be talked about, both in and out of music

so this is why i love 5sos

not because they're cute boys in a band (which i mean they are but that's not the point)

but because they're genuine

and i couldn't ask for a better band to stan

like michael's thing about "even if i could save just one fan, this would all be worth it"

that struck a chord with me

even though we tell him this everyday

but this band is the reason a lot of us are still here

he's already saved so many people, and there's more to come

i can't speak for everyone but i know that for a lot of us

5sos is what got us out of a dark place

5sos gave us something to wait for

i know for me personally 5sos is the reason i have friends

they're the reason i've met wonderful people both in person and online

and i just hope that they know how much we love them

even though we can be really annoying

and they can be really annoying

we love them regardless

so thank you 5sos

for everything you do
