Hermione's Secret

"Ok Ron you should probably get going." Hermione urged.

"Are you sure?" Ron asked in a way that made Hermione uncomfortable.

"Yes I'm sure" Hermione rushed Ron out of her room.

"Bye love. See you tomorrow then." Ron said quickly kissing the top of Hermione's head.

He didn't know if he upset her or what was going on with her lately but he could tell that she was walking on eggshells around him and he couldn't figure out why. He never yelled or sweared at her. He didn't push her to do anything that made her feel uncomfortable. But she had started to distance herself from him lately so her just agreed and give her some space when she needed it.

Hermione had indeed grown uncomfortable with being around Ron. She was always so nervous that she would find out her secret. They had been dating for about 6 months now and all they had done was kiss. Hermione loved that Ron was understanding towards her and didn't push her into anything. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. A soft knock.

"Who is it?" Hermione whispered her face pressed against the door.

"It's me." Hermione heard the small timid voice and threw open the door throwing her arms around Ginny.

"Ginny!" Hermione squealed quietly careful not to wake the other Gryffindors in the rooms next door. The two walked into the room and shut the door quietly still hugging deeply.

"I missed you so much Ginny!"

"I missed you too Mi." Hermione loved the little nickname Ginny had given her. Apparently her more common nickname, Mione was too long to be a nickname, so Ginny shortened it to Mi.

"Did you end it?" Ginny questioned. "With my brother I mean."

"I'm sorry Ginny. I just... couldn't." Hermione looked down and sat on her bed. Ginny joined her.

"Hermione we can't keep doing this." "Not behind Ron's back." "He's my brother." Ginny reasoned.

"And he's my boyfriend!" "You think I like lying to him?" "Or having to push him out of my room being being near him is uncomfortable for me?" Hermione's eyes started tearing up. Hermione was so fragile. Ginny pulled her in a kissed her tender lips. That seemed to stop her little tantrum.

Ginny hated to see Hermione cry. And to be honest Ginny had been being pretty difficult about the whole Ron situation. Ginny apologized to Hermione and they snuggled up in Hermione's bed until they both fell fast asleep.

Trust me the chapters and writing style do get better if you stick through. ;)
