Forbidden (Completed)

The train ride

Hermione couldn't believe she just lied to her girlfriend. If she could even call Ginny that anymore since the thought of them was incomprehensible to her. The whole situation made Mi furious beyond belief. But if she had learned anything from Ginny it was that sometimes telling a sweet little lie is easier then revealing the harsh, bitter truth.

Maybe they could just start off as friends again and then become more. Like when they first met. They fell in love once. Maybe they could do it again!

"So... you know basically everything about me right?" Hermione nodded in reply. "I'd like, if it's ok, to get to know you a little better as well." Again Mione nodded trying desperately to force out an actual verbal reply. "Maybe you could start by telling me a little about yourself, and then I can ask you a couple questions."

Finally Hermione was able to stir up the courage to speak.
"Ok, well my name is Hermione Jean Granger, I go to school with you, I'm dating your brother Ron..." Hermione looked over at Ginny and realized that this realization had come as a shock to her.

"You're dating my brother?"
"How long were you two together?"
Ginny seemed cautious but also curious. Like she wanted to know but also she kind of didn't.

"We've been together for a couple months now. About 3 or 4 I think." Hermione replied making sure not to expose their relationship.

Mione continue to rattle off personal details about herself to the one person that was supposed to know everything about her. Her heart ached as she talked trying not to let her agony flow through her words even though it was coursing through her mind.

The train came to a loud stop and they scrambled to pick up their trunks and scurry out the door.

Once then returned to Hogwarts, Ginny reconnected with her brother, her friends and tried with Harry but was enigmatically shrugged off.

She proceeded to her cozy Gryffindor room as though everything in her life was completely normal. She had no reason to suspect otherwise.
