The next evening, you sat in your room. It was pitch dark except for a few candles and your lamp. You sprawled out on the bed and stared at the ceiling, thinking and imagining who the mysterious man was and why he was so secretive. It didn't bother you that he was so private, it was hot, but it was hard to understand. Why would somebody want to hide their face from the world? Unless he's some sort of wanted criminal? You wondered how he got past any of the guards or security to get on your roof in the first place, but the thought of that made you feel a little wheezy and unsafe.

"'Let's hope not'." you quoted his words out loud to yourself. "Why did he say that? It sounds so rude but at the same time it was kind of like a joke? I don't understand anything. What am I doing? What if he's an old man? What if he's some creepy pervert that is planning on killing me?" Questions raced through your mind until you heard a quiet tap on your balcony window. Your heart sunk. What if you were right and he was some junky...?

You stood up and brushed your dark red night gown down before walking over to the glass doors. Your balcony curtains swayed all around, and when you opened the doors- there was nobody there on the balcony . You stood confused looking around.

"Hello..?" you asked no one. It was silent. You walked out a little more.

"Hey, Princess." a deep voice whispered from the darkness. You gasped, clenching your chest in fear. Then you slowly laughed.

"Hi mysterious man i don't know."

"Raphael, remember?" he reminded you. Your eyes lit up.

"Oh, shit. I forgot, sorry." you said softly. You spun around in a circle on your balcony looking all around you. "Where are you exactly?" you asked curiously.

"Does it matter?" he asked. That time his voice sounded like it was behind you, so you turned around. Nothing there. "For a princess you have quite the potty mouth, don't you?" That time it sounded like his voice was behind you again! You turned back around once more, but there was nothing there. Was he invisible?

"Why were you spying on me yesterday?" You asked furrowing your eyebrows a bit.

"You ask a lot of questions." he chuckled a bit. "What's up with you?"

"And you're not capable of answering them?" you laughed back.

"Fair enough." he said. "I wasn't spying on you, i was supposed to be... protecting you." he paused between his sentence. Was he lying to you? Or was he just nervous? You snorted.

"Protecting me?" you repeated placing a hand on your hip. "From what?"

"You're in danger. Someone is targeting you." He began. You took a seat on the cement balcony floor, your night gown sprawled out accross it. "But don't worry, I have a team protecting you."

"You mean more invisible guys with hot voices watch me at night and listen to me talk to myself?" even though you couldn't see, you had a feeling that made him blush since he took a moment to respond. You were just messing around with him, not that you were lying- but you thought he'd take it as a joke and laugh. Guess you flattered him instead.

"No. Just me." he said quieter. "Don't worry. We'll protect you."

"I mean... thanks?" you asked a little confused. People were after you? What is he talking about? Is this guy loco?

"No problem." he grunted. It was silent , and awkward. What should you say? What should he say? You said the first thing you could think of when it became clear he wasn't going to talk.

"Why can't I see what you look like?" you asked resting your chin in the palm of your hand. He coughed.

"I don't reveal my identity to anyone." he muttered. You squinted.

"What about your team, do they know what you look like?" you asked. He groaned a little under his breath.

"Do looks really matter anyway?" he asked. You blinked.

"No, of course not. I just would like to know you're not...like... an old man-pervert-stalker-killer-or...something... you know?" you said all the names quickly , twiddling with your fingers shyly. He sighed more sympatheticly.

"I'm not any of those things. If you want me to stop coming here just say the word." You quickly spoke up.

"No!" you said loudly. "I like talking to you, Raphael." you calmed down toward the end of your sentence. You could hear some rattling in the tree in front of the balcony and then a small oval shaped object fell out onto the ground. The same one that hit you in the head yesterday, the phone.

"Take this. If you're in danger at all, call me and my team." you pick up the device and poke the screen, it lights up. "It's a T phone." he stated . You smiled putting it in your dress pocket.

"Raphael, why do you want to protect me so much?" you teased him a little.

"I don't care. i'm just trying to attack the people that want to attack you." he said sternly. You weren't really worried about being attacked though, because all you could think about was Raphael.

"How old are you?" you asked timidly.

            "I'm 17."

"Are you a guy or girl?" You joked.

"Girl." he said, making his voice deeper as he said it. You giggled. Then you heard a little beeping noise coming from outside. His T-Phone?  "I-I gotta go. My team will kill me if i'm silly talking with some princess. " he said quickly. You could hear him shuffling in his gear through the darkness.

"Oh, okay..." you were a little disappointed. You liked him. "You can come back if you ever want to." you awkwardly offered. He chuckled.

"More like you're saying that because you want me to come back." You rolled your eyes turning back into your room.

           "Goodbye, Raphael." You smiles.

"I like your night gown by the way," He commented. You stopped walking when you heard him say that. "Red is my favorite color." he finished. Then he ran away into the dark. You walked in your room and closed the balcony doors before letting out a huge dreamy sigh.

"Raphael~" You whispered out loud to yourself. "Such a pretty name.." you grabbed the phone he gave you out of your pocket and checked it. It was 2am, you really needed to get some sleep. You walked over and threw yourself on your bed, smiling.
