Klaudia--

'HAPPY BIRTH-DAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTH-DAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTH-DAY TO KLAUDIA AND ELIZA,
HAPPY BIRTH-DAY TO YOU'
Screamed the roaring audience as the cake was brought to the table where we were sat before I opened my mouth and blew out the 18 candles laid out on the cake before me.

Today is the start of my adult hood, I will get a job and work hard. Is what I told myself. No one else matters today. This is your day, Kay. Elli rose from the rickety chair, wine glass in hand 'today is the day when adult-hood strikes, for me and my sister' a hand jester towards me as the crowd cheared 'we have been threw life together' less then you'd think 'but now we part to are separate ways.' Anougher cheer 'so here I toast for my sister, for always being there for me' can't say the same back 'so thank you, all of you!' She finally sat.

After many chats and even more drinks, we finally said our goodbyes to the friends and family that showed and I gave auntie Em a get well soon card for her husband who was in hospital with a broken ancle. However, not everyone left. Jessica, what are we doing here?
I'm not sure, what are we doing here? Jessica voice said loud in my ear and I received two looks: one from my sister, oviously confused by my facial outburst of shock; another from Jess who lucked rather smug. OMG OMG OMG SHE CAN READ MY MIND!
You sound shocked dear.
Why- why wouldn't I be?
Silence.

Little miss Thing and little miss Thang went of to my (and Elli's) bedroom as usual so I decided to go to the beach, to escape for a while.

The beach was quiet this late since everyone had hone home for dinner and hadn't come back, that's what I like most about beaches. I flipped off my shoes to feel the sand siv between my toes what I ran down towards the water, letting down my hair as I went.

The sand may have felt good on my bare skin, but the water felt better. I went deeper into the ocean, lighting a flame in my palm which somehow managed to pluck the air from the sea to stay lit underwater.

Once I was up to my neck in saltwater, I decided to test my luck and dive in, my cloths were soaked anyway.  Once underwater I could see why a marine biologist would like their job, that is until my light went out in the haste. Most beaches are littered with well... litter these days, but our island was different...

The dull red corals were illuminated by the light in my palm which I managed to relight and the seaweed sprang out life when I accidentally kicked it in my attempt to swim.

After a while my skin started to wrinkle from the saltwater so I decided to head home. What's swimming to the shore I caught a glimpse of a Phoenix that probably came from the caves in the mountains. Phoenixes were very rare and it was said to be good luck if you saw one, but that's the opposite of what I found once home...
