Just a warning, there is some language in here!

Luke

I wake up to the sound of an alarm going off.

"Ashton, turn the fucking alarm off," I groan.

It keeps going.

"Ashton, turn the fucking thing off or -" I stop myself mid sentence, because as I sit up to throw a pillow at him, he's not there.

Or rather, I'm not in my room.

As I look around I recognize the blue walls and the Green Day, The Cab and All Time Low posters scattered about. The dark, wood desk in one corner with random papers and books piled up on it. Shelves filled with different CDs and miscellaneous binders over on the opposite side of the room. The large window with the red curtains drawn to block the sunlight.

I was home.

I jump out of bed and pace the room a bit. How the hell did I get here? Is this some sort of practical joke played by the boys? But, last I checked I was in England... with the boys.

Fuck.

I start going around the room searching for my cell phone. I turn up papers and toss books onto the floor, hoping to uncover it. I tear the sheets and duvet off the bed and hear a thump.

I dive to where I heard, what I was assuming was my phone, fall. I upturn my sheets and there is a small black, slide phone laying there.

What. The. Hell.

This has to be some sick twisted joke.

I take a deep breath before picking up the phone and sliding it open. How the hell does this thing work? I knit my eyebrows together in confusion as I stare at the minuscule screen. I find a little address book type image on the screen and I figure out how to open it. I look to select Ashton's name because he's usually my first contact. But, it's not there. Now I'm even more confused. I go down the list hoping to see Calum's contact but it's not there either. I try to be optimistic and tell myself that Michael Clifford's name will be in the M's but surprise, surprise. It's not there. Only Michael Thompson. But he's obviously not the Michael I'm looking for.

I can feel myself getting frustrated and I throw my phone at the wall closest to me. It breaks apart and falls to the floor. I slump down on my bed and try to analyze my situation.

Right before I can do anything, my bedroom door opens. I turn my head to see who it is.

"Mum," I breathe out, it's been ages since I've last seen her.

"Luke, what the hell are you doing still in your pajamas? You're supposed to be down for breakfast by now, you'll be late for work!" She looks at me in awe and then sees what I did to the room, "And why the hell is your room in a state of disaster?"

"Um.."

"Oh god, just get dressed!" she says as she stalks off. All I can do is stare at the doorway, flabbergasted.

Work?

I bet you that Calum, Ashton and Michael are going through fits of laughter right now. This is probably one of those stupid shows like Punked! or what not. For added measure, just in case, I make sure to flip off wherever there could be a camera in my room. Dicks.

I find a Ramones t-shirt and pull it on over my head and put on a pair of jeans that I found tossed onto the chair pushed into my desk.

I make my way downstairs slowly, taking in my surroundings. This is my house, now I'm sure of it.

As I make my way to the kitchen, I tell myself that the boys will be sitting at the kitchen table, laughing about how daft he is. That isn't the case.

The second I walk in, my mother pushes a plate of food into my hands and orders me to eat.

"I-I'm not really hungry right now," I says slowly looking around. My mother looks at me worriedly, takes the plate back, placing it on the counter and puts a hand to my forehead.

"Are you feeling okay? You seem out of it today. "

"Yeah, um, I'm fine."

"You sure about that?"

"Mum, where are Calum, Ashton and Michael?" I blurt out, way to keep your cool, Luke.

She looks at me in surprise and confusion, "Luke," she starts, "You haven't spoken to Calum in about 7 years now and I have no clue who these Ashton and Michael boys are."

"What are you talking about?"

"What are you talking about, honey? You're really not alright, do you want to see Dr Stevens or should I phone work saying that you're ill?"

Well, shit.

"Um, no. I was just playing, mum. Just a joke." I say, trying to sound convincing as I smile meekly.

She gives me this look, one of disbelief, I can tell she's unconvinced but she let's it slide, I suppose.

"Alright, well off to work!" She says as she practically throws the car keys at me and pushes me out the door, closing it behind me.

I turn and look at the closed door before facing forward once again and taking a deep breathe.

What the hell is going on?

Seeing as I wasn't sure where I was supposed to be off to, I decided I should get some answers.

I get into the car and begin the drive to Calum's house.
