The day everything changed, was just yesterday. The Rebels had destroyed our transportation, we were rushing to aid the Empire with fuel for war purposes of their own. Instead, the Rebels had exploded our fuel transportation for the Imperial and in response, my father has declared war on these rebels. As I walk by my father's office, I hear him talking to someone. I peek through a hole of the door. There in the transponder was a blue man with shockingly red eyes as of a human's blood. Wearing a white uniform. Along by his side is a pale-skinned woman, short black hair, and a grey uniform. And on the blue man's other side is a white-skinned man with blonde hair and a beard. Similar uniform to the woman and seems quite attractive in physical appearance.
"Grand Admiral Thrawn, Governor Pryce, and Agent Kallus, so good to hear from you at this time." I hear my father.
"Emperor Banner, it is indeed a great honor for us to you. The Rebels have yet again destroyed the supplies along with your people aboard." The blue man says."His name is Thrawn." I slightly gasp, finding it was my sisters, Saint and Simone.
"What do they want?" Simone whispers.
"Ssshhhh!""I would like to offer you something before my time here is gone," Father says.
"What in particular must I accept from, one of the greatest leaders known in the galaxy?" Thrawn asks our father. His tone is so calm, yet incredibly irritating.
"I offer you my army, my fleet. But we must seal it the 'traditional ways'."
"And which tradition is that, Emperor?" Thrawn's interest in my father's offer is causing me to become frazzled.
"Marriage. For you to marry my daughter, the eldest of three, and currently in training to become the next leader of the Empire, but with such a burden as that I fear would bring...such deplorable results. My daughter, Star is arrogant for one, but is far strong-minded." It makes me a bit confident at hearing the last part of my father's sentence.
"Your conditions of the offer are quite...conceivable. Therefore, I hope your daughter is...capable of such a burden as this one." Thrawn says.
"Forgive me for the intrusion, but I am for certain we have a necessary need of awareness of her age, sir." Governor Pryce says coldly.
"She's merely twenty-eight, I'm sure she will be just fine, Governor Pryce."
"So you have acknowledged her of this......solution? Yes?" Thrawn questions. As I stand and begin to run, I hear a shatter from behind me as I leave. I break a vase that stood outside of my father's office. Both of my sisters follow after me."It's alright, Star." Saint tries to calm me down with a hug.
"Yes, nothing is better than having an arranged marriage to a blue man who knows how old he is and becoming a part of the Imperial. So......all parents, have their corks you know?" Simone jokes. Simone has a reputation for being the jokester of the family, especially since she's the youngest.I chuckle a bit at her comment. We sense our father coming to the room. I wipe my tears away and fix my standing position.
"Remain. Calm." I thought to myself.
The door slides open.
"Hello, my angels." He smiles widely.
"Hello, father." We all speak at once.
"I have a surprise for you. Well..." He slowly approaches me and takes my hand. We both place our hands together."I have a surprise for you." He finally says.
"I suppose it's not precisely anything I have in mind." There is a probability of him knowing my awareness of what he is about to confess."You know how it is to take such great responsibilities and handle them well."
"And?"
"And this one will possibly be one of the utmost challenging of them all...for you.......mostly." He sighs as he closes his eyes for a moment. I know what he's about to tell me.
"I have discussed with a solution to the Empire's problem of their army's numbers. We have decided to unite both empires. But to do so......Grand Admiral Thrawn must have your hand in marriage." He gently pats my hand. I immediately slip my hand out from his grasp.
