Everything Is Not What it Seems

Chapter 38

~ Sophia's POV ~
"Hey sweety time to get up. We're here" a woman's voice said as someone shook my shoulders. I opened my eyes to see it was Rachel. I got up and grabbed my bag as we headed out of the plane. A police car sat down off the run way and my dad stood beside it with officer Nick.

"DAD!!!" I ran down the steps and over to his car. He held out is arms as I leaped into them.

"I'm so glad we found you. I kept searching even after your funeral. I never believed it was you in the casket. I love you! I'll never let anyone get a hold of you again." he said. I just giggled.

"Nice to have you back kid!" Nick said with a smile when I let go of my dad.

"Ready to go home?" Nick asked as he walked around the car to the driver side.

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be." I said smiling.

"First we'll need to stop by the hospital to make sure your ok." my dad said. I just nodded my head. Lately my leg has stopped bothering me even though it's just been a few days. I lifted my hand to my cheek but I felt no scar from where Jason took a blade to it.

When we arrived there was a nurse waiting for us in the waiting room. She guided us down the hall to a room and told us to sit. After a few minutes a doctor came in. He checked me over then took me to the xray. He found nothing.

"Do you have any wounds that I cant see from the xray?" I nodded my head and lifted my pant leg to reveal the bullet wound that has began to heal.

"Looks like whoever fixed you up knew how to do it. I think we're good here Chad. Your daughter doesn't look infected or hurt." my dad nodded his head then shook his hand.

We all got back in the police car and headed home. I watched the trees go bye.

When we finally arrived at the house I seen Nick and Connor's vehicles. As I walked in the front door the first one to tackle me was Max. He ran over and hugged my leg as our mother gave me a big hug.

"Oh my gosh sweety! I'm so glad your home!" she said as Max kept mumbling sniffles into my leg.

I looked over my mothers shoulder and seen Nick, Ashley, Lilly and Connor all sitting on the couch.

As my mom let go I seen Molly leave Danny's side and let go of his hand as she ran over to me. She engulfed me in a hug as I hugged her back.

"Don't scare us like that." she sniffled into my shoulder. "I promise I wont do it again." I said chuckling into her shoulder.

She let go and picked up Max who was still sniffling. Before I knew what I was doing I ran over to Danny and hugged him nearly knocking him over.

"I missed you so much." he mumbled. He grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me back as he looked over me. "What'd he do to you? Did they abuse you? I'm gonna hurt that that son of a b****." he said. Our mother gave him a warning look but didn't say anything. She doesn't like when people cuss.

"I'm fine Danny." I said smiling. Molly handed Max over to me and I went and gave the rest hugs. My parents went into the kitchen so the rest of us went to the basement to the family/gaming room.

"So what have I missed out on?" I asked smiling as I sat down on the couch with Max still clinging to me.

They told me about how Chelsea the schools top 'Mean Girl' got served. A week after her boyfriend dumped her she asked out Noah and he turned her down. Also she got kicked of the cheer quad when she got caught drunk while driving the day after the break up. We also have new neighbors that just moved in a week after I disappeared.

I also found out that Danny and Molly started dating after they hung out a while. I found that cute. I know that's my best friend and my brother but I'm close with my brother so it doesn't gross me out.

After a few hours they all went back home besides Molly. So we headed up to my room. I found a new phone laying on my desk so I started putting every ones numbers back in. As I was doing that Danny walked in.

"Ok tell me what they did to you and why?" he said as he closed the door. "Yeah, tell us everything that happened." Molly said as Danny sat down on the bed.

"Um well..." I started telling them about being tied to a chair and how we made those videos. I told them that after the videos they let me have my own room until we had to move. I basically told them everything minus the kissing and when Jason and I had the same room. I figured Danny would come unglued if I told him about that. I never did tell them about the stuff Jason said about my dad.
