Gus came bursting into my room like a floppy firework because he tripped over my laptop charger and landed just a centimetre away from squishing Taz.
I wheezed, he pretended it never happened.
"Wow I'm so offended," he gasped, holding his heart in one hand and his phone displaying my Instagram in the other.
"You should be,"
"Anyways, are we going to get food or not?" Gus asked, smiling at me with puppy dog eyes.
"Oh shit yeah," I replied, I smirked a small bit at Gus, "race you"
Gus and I ran out of the room and he tried to push me back but we both ended up falling down the stairs and landing in a heap, laughing.
"You're such an idiot," he laughed.
"You were the one who pushed me," I replied, standing up and putting my jacket on.
"Thanks for helping me up,"
"You pushed me, I'm not helping you up, nerd,"
"Don't make me attack you," Gus warned, he knew even though I acted like it didn't phase me, I hated this with a passion.
"You're like a sad puppy Gustavo - id like to see you try," I warmed, pitting on my sliders and picking up my keys from the key holder.
He gasped, I laughed.
We got into my beat up truckt and drove off to target, Gus huffing every fucking second to try to get my attention. We both knew what he wanted but for whatever reason his stupid ass wouldn't get it.
"Oh my god just take the aux cord!"
"Thanks sissy"
I rolled my eyes but smiled as soon I heard of my favourite songs play through the speakers at the perfect volume: too loud. I had no clue who it was or what it was called but I heard it on the radio a few weeks ago and fell in love.
"Now all they say is congratulations," Gus sang.
"Hey this is a good song," I smiled, turned it up.
"I know him, well, only on twitter but yeah"
"Who is it?"
"Can't tell you that Nov, I don't want people knowing who you are, not yet anyways,"
"I know, I just like the song, download some of his songs, but it's ok, I get it,"
"It's for your own good Nova,"
"No, it's ok, protective older brother thing, I get it," I replied, I want to be known at Lil Peep's little sister who he love and cares for, but there are some nasty people out there. I mean I do hate this 'keep me a secret' thing but I trust that he has his reasons.
"I love you Nora," he smirked.
"I love you too Gustavo,"
We pulled up and parked in target's parking lot, rushing in to pick up our essentials and our favourites, a few fans came up to get pictures with him but didn't even realise I was there, which is good. To avoid any social contact we ran to the self service checkout and lip synced to the automated voice that the machine would also make.
We were out in just 10 minuets - a new record.
"Now, Indian food. Are you in the mood for raj's or Indian palace?"
Without taking his eyes off of his phone, Gus mumbled something than vaguely sounded like Indian Palace so I took that as his answer. Eventually he stopped texting who I'm assuming was his girlfriend Layla and put a song on, though this time it was one of his own.
"WHEN I DIE BURY ME WITH ALL MY ICE ON"
Gus looked over at me and smiled, joining in on the screaming.
"WHEN I DIE BURY ME WITHOUT THE LIGHTS ON"
