Late Saturday Night
“It’s just a drop in the ocean.”
Greyson’s POV
Aven hasn’t replied to me.
Shit.
I don’t even know where to begin looking for her.
Robin would know!
I toss on my shoes and leave my apartment.
Robin’s POV
*knock knock*
I peel myself away from my phone and off the couch to answer the door.
“Greyson what are you doing here?”
“Have you talked to Aven? I sent her a text telling her what happened and I was horrible about it. When she didn’t respond I got worried.”
“You. Did. WHAT?! I haven’t been able to get ahold of her for over an hour! Her phone is going straight to voicemail! I know she’s probably at a party but lord only knows now. You know, you’ve pulled some pretty shitty stunts but this is the lowest. She was in bad enough shape earlier!”
“I’m sorry! Alright?! We need to not be fighting. We have to find her. She’s walking I’m assuming, since the car is in the driveway? She can’t be that far. Maybe her phone died! Let’s go find her and we’ll talk to her together!”
“Assuming she didn’t leave with anyone, she should be close.”
Aven’s POV
God, he’s beautiful.
I think to myself as I watch him drive.
The curve of his chest is just visible under the rip in his shirt.
His eyes are the most mesmerizing amber color.
“What’s your name, love?”
His question shakes me out my thoughts.
“Hm? Oh, Aven. Yours?”
“Ashton. Where am I taking you, Aven?”
Mr. Beautiful has a name.
Ashton.
I look at my hands and start to fidget.
I reach for my phone and realize it’s gone.
“Shit!”
“I’m sorry?”
“Oh, I uh, lost my phone back there. I ju-“
“Ohhh, erm, I found your phone. It got smashed somehow in the struggle. Did you need to call someone? You can use mine.”
“No, I have no one I want to talk to.”
“Do you have anywhere to go?”
“I can’t go home right now. I was hoping I could crash at your place tonight?”
“My roommate will probably go home with a girl from the party so I don’t see why you can’t.”
“Thank you.”
“You hungry?”
“Very.”
“Pizza?”
I knew he was a god.
