Taeyong hurriedly put on his pink button up blouse and groaned not finding his khaki shorts he had planned to wear. His room was already a mess at how unorganized he was but now it was a battle field as he threw everything around trying to find his shorts. He let out a frustrated yell and his mother immediately went to go check up on her son knowing he was in some sort of discomfort.

"Taeyong dear what's wrong?" Taeyong's mother asked worriedly as she saw her distressed son. Taeyong pouted and went to go hug his mother at how perfectly he wanted to look in front of Jaehyun.

"I can't find my khaki shorts that I was going to wear with this blouse and Jaehyun will be here any moment" Taeyong caved as his mother stroked his hair. His mother let out a little chuckle at how adorable her son was wanting to look presentable in front of his friend. Jaehyun always dressed up on Sundays for their play dates as in the mornings he would attend church and after would pick up Taeyong to go play. Taeyong's mother always found it admiring as Jaehyun was younger than Taeyong yet he cared so much for him.

"I'll help you look hmm?" His mother suggested and Taeyong nodded happily. Taeyong's mother knew how messy her son could be but that never would stop her from finding things Taeyong would always seem to lose and once again she didn't fall short as she was holding the shorts in her hand handing it to Taeyong. Taeyong quickly hugged his mother not bothering to ask where she found them and yelled 'thank you' as he hurriedly slid them on with a pair of white calf length socks and put on his running shoes.

He didn't get a chance to check how his hair looked as there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it!" Taeyong yelled running like his life depended on it. His heart was racing and he didn't understand why. It always felt like this whenever he thought about or was with Jaehyun. Maybe he's just really excited to see his friend and he was.

Taeyong opened the door which revealed a smiling Jaehyun in a tucked baby blue polo shirt and navy shorts with a lunch box in hand.

"You ready to go?" Jaehyun asked waiting for Taeyong's reply. Taeyong nodded but quickly went to go give his mother a kiss on the cheek as a goodbye. Once he returned Jaehyun already had his hand out so that Taeyong could take.

"You look nice" Jaehyun said as they walked hand in hand to their hiding spot in the forest. Taeyong let out a giggle and couldn't hide the skip in his feet.

"You look perfect."

Jaehyun couldn't hide the blush on his cheeks.
