I was having a Koreaboo phase so please excuse the horrifying number of Korean words I used 2 years ago , thank you.
Kwon Aeri woke up with a start when she felt something wet on her face. "Yah!" She shouted at her older brother and jumped on him. "Oppa! What are you doing waking me up so early?" She whined and tried to snatch away the glass of water away from him.
He kept moving his arms, dodging his little sisters attempt to take the glass away from him and laughed. "Your arms are so short" He chuckled making her mumble under her breath. "Appa called me to wake you up so you can start packing" He added and got up to leave the room.
"Why do you get to stay here while I go back to Seoul?" She said making him stop in the doorway. He sighed and turned around going back and patting her head in a caring way. He had never done this before or even shown an ounce of affection to his little sister. But the fact that she was moving away from him broke his heart because she was only sibling.
"You know why ... I have University. And appa and eomma aren't together anymore" He explained and pinched her cheeks. "Now get up before I have to bring a bucket full of water to make you leave your bed" He joked and left the room.
Aeri sighed and went to the bathroom to freshen up before beginning to pack.

The day passed in a flash and she was finally done. Tomorrow she would have to leave for the airport to begin a new life in South Korea. Her friends had invited her to hang out with them the day before. She even managed to play a basket ball game with her college team one last time knowing she wouldn't be able to see them for a long time.
"Aeri ah! Are you done yet?" Her mum called from downstairs and she let out a tired sigh. Putting her hair up in a bun, she heads downstairs into the kitchen to help her.
The utensils are already placed cleanly on the dining table and Aeri can smell her favourite dish baking in the oven. "Oh eomma! I'm going to miss your cooking so much" She said and opened the fridge to look for her bottle of water.
"Aish! You're only going to miss my cooking?" Her mum asked with a fake angry tone. Aeri chuckled and pecked her mother's cheek.
"I will miss you too" The girl said and watched her mother cook while leaning against the counter, bottle in hand.
"Don't make me cry again, pabo" She said and rushed around the kitchen, chopping vegetables and checking the oven again and again.
Once they were finished, they set everything on the dining table and waited for Aeri's brother to come and have dinner with them.
"This will be our last dinner together" She sighed and looked like she is about to cry again when Aeri hugs her and tells her it's alright. "I'm sorry I have to make you guys go through this" Her mother says indicating her and her brother.
