"So let me get this straight," Chat started, his hand on his chin trying to process what Ladybug had just discovered.
"You're telling me, that when you put your hand on the otherside of the portal, you also heard a conversation you had with Alya in the past?"
"Yes! Now we don't have time to waste, Chat Noir! This portal is dangerous, it can create time paradoxes, butterfly effects, the timeline could be forever ruined!"
"Alright, alright." The leather suited hero said approaching his wife, massaging her shoulders, like he usually did when she was stressed out.
"Don't worry, M'lady, everything will work out just fine."
"No Chat," she said pushing his hands away, she turned to him.
"This isn't some teenage akuma attack from back in the day, this is a portal to the past. If something goes wrong, then we might not have the lives we do now. We might not even have Emma, and i couldn't live with the thought of my little girl not existing."
"I know," he said looking down to the ground.
Chat had never seen Ladybug get so stressed before. Not when she had Emma, not even when she was approaching a deadline and an akuma was attacking the city.
One of them had to be the strong one, and though it was usually her, Chat knew that he had to keep a leveled head. For her.
"Alright, we'll get the police to set up a perimeter around the portal, keep civilians safe, and away from the portal," he put his hand under her chin and lifted it up. Looking into her bluebell eyes.
"It's going to be fine. We're going to get through this. Okay?"
"Actually Chat Noir, i don't think the police will be able to protect all the portals." Said an echoing voice.
The two superheroes went into a defense position, backs to each other looking around for any sign of danger.
"There are more?" Shouted Ladybug.
"Of course! I wouldn't be dumb enough to just put one up!"
Reavealing themselves, the voice belonged to a white bunny suited bespectacled girl.
"But I must congratulate you for finding the first portal so fast!"
"Who are you!" The red spotted hero exclaimed, swinging her yo-yo.
"My name is Blanc Lapin. The newest miraculous hero in Paris."
Ladybug looked at the girl, suddenly remembering Nadia's new vigilante spottings.
"You're that vigilante that's been on the news lately."
"You've heard of me, I'm so flattered!" The girl giggled.
"What do you want, why are you doing this!?" Chat asked.
"It's simple really. I want to be the hero of Paris, the only hero of Paris," she pointed.
"And you're in my way."

Alya didn't mind spendong time with her niece.
The girl was much less trouble than her twin sisters and Manon when they were younger.
"Can we go on a walk, Aunt Alya!?"
"Sorry kiddo it's dark out," she said picking up the girl.
"And it is passed your bed time!" She pinched Emma's nose lightly, the small girl giggling.
"Can't i wait for maman et papa?!?"
"Sorry Emma, but you know the drill. Time to brush your teeth."
Emma sighed solemnly and made her way to the washroom, brushing her teeth, she wished her mom was here to read her a bedtime story.
She loved Aunt Alya but it wasn't the same as her mother's soothing voice.
The blonde girl sighed again, she sometimes wished her parents didn't have to be heroes, but alas where would Paris be without them.
Walking out of the restroom into her bedroom Emma didn't notice the wind, the shouts of her aunt, or the portal that she just walked into.
By the time she realised what had happened, it was too late.
"I don't think this is my bedroom."
Emma went through the portal.
