It was a few weeks before I got my cast off, having to wash my nose for an hour afterwards.

During my disappearance from school, Will and I got a little closer. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing, but it's happening. Hazel worried like a mother over me. Father, apparently, had sorted out the bullying situation, and Percy was suspended for three days--not much, considering I wasn't even there those three days, but better than nothing.

I started getting ready for Monday school, at 6AM Monday morning. I felt... nervous. Of course more attention would be on me, unwanted attention. I'm sure everyone at school knew what happened. I'm sure everyone at school was excited for what would happen next.

I quickly got dressed in my usual black tee and black jeans, and

I hastily brushed my teeth and combed my rats-nest hair. I decided to dress casually today, feeling little motivation--I threw on black sweatpants and my black sweater with no shirt underneath. Cozy. Not very noticeable.

Despite my thoughts a couple weeks ago,I had /not/ lost any teeth. I brushed them normally for about two minutes, and then dumped out my backpack. I decided to re-fill it, having just enough paper for class and many colored pencils, rather than a tiny binder and old candy bar wrappers.

I shouldn't be messing with my backpack, I should be putting my shoes on. I started playing with an old candy wrapper instead, watching the orange-ish colors salsa in the air. I wonder what it would be like if I were blind too. Probably depressing.

I lean back on my bed. It's too early for this. Too dark of a time. What's the benefit of going to school, anyway? I've already most likely failed the semester with all the time I missed. I'd just be putting up with morons all day.

"Nico, we're gonna be late!" Hazel calls from outside my door.

I sigh, "Sorry..."

Instead of tying my sneakers on, I slip into some slippers. I'll probably go to first period and then skip my other classes. Ideally.

"Coming!" I hop up out of bed and open the door, hoisting my backpack.

I am such a sorry brat.
