As I enter the doors of the high school, Will was waving at me. I sighed, but walked up to him.

"Hey, Nice! How are you feeling?"

I shrug, "The usual."

He looks down at my slippers, "WHAT ARE THO-"

I punch his arm. He giggles but whimpers, "Wow, you have a strong punch, Neeks!"

I growl, "I've told you not to call me that!"

"Sorry! Wanna go to class?"

I shake my head, "I'm probably gonna skip."

Will frowned, "That's not good, Nico! You need to be in class."

I begin walking away, but the annoying orange follows me.

"Let me do me, and you do you." I say.

"Fine, I'll come with you then."

"I said you do you!"

"But I don't want anything dangerous happening to you."

"I'm fine, Will! I'm not a child!"

"I didn't say you were, I just-"

"Will, just don't. Please."

"I-"

"Will."

I stare him sternly in the eyes. He falters, and sighs, giving in.

"But I'll text you later, okay?"

"Fine," I sigh. "See you later."

I walk towards my locker, dropping off my backpack and closing it, locking it securely. With only a couple minutes left, and students crowding the halls, I exit the school building. Maybe it's a bad decision, but I don't care. I'm just sick of all these health conditions. I just want to feel good about something. I just want to feel good in general.
