Today we go to the doctors to find out the gender of the baby. I'm excited and I can't really tell if Marco is excited or not.. He look like he nervous. I grabbed his hand "What's wrong?" He touched my stomach

"You have another life inside of you America. That doesn't scare you?" I smiled after he asked that

"Of course I'm scared" he rubbed my stomach "I'm scared of it all. I think about the what ifs..." he looked me in my eye and the doctor called us to the back. I laid back on the chair/table thing. He put the jell on my stomach. Marco grabbed my hand and smiled.

"This is your baby" the doctor looked over and smiled "You're having a little girl" I looked at Marco and I seen his tears building up at the corner of his eye.

( ( Marco P.O.V. ) )

Me and my mom never got anything resolved when I went over there. After Mimi got to throwing up and stuff I had to get her home. I actually want this baby, I know I acted like I didn't but I really do. I don't want to lose another baby so I'm trying to do my best as a boyfriend and baby daddy to keep that extra stress off of her.

I went to Kay to look for a wedding ring. America don't like anything fancy but I know whatever I give her she's going to love it. I took August and Meechie with me "Y'all can't tell no one I'm buying this ring" I sighed "Y'all niggas can't hold water. Please don't tell Camile, nor Victoria" I shook my head. Man if they spoil this for me , I will mess some things up. As I was looking for a ring I got a phone call from Chino.

Phone Conversation

"I think we should take a trip" the man pulled out all these different types of rings

"What kind of trip? and with who?" I asked. I'm not just gonna take a trip with just anybody

"A couples retreat. Me d Shelby, You & America, Coby & Asia, August & Victoria, Meechie & Camile, Mario & Nicole , & Rich & who ever he bring" I actually think a trip will be good and it'll also be a great time for me to propose to my baby.

"Yeah man, I think that'd be a good idea. When will all this be taking place?" I asked and he sighed

"How about in a month.. I need time to actually put all this shit together man"

"Alright man" he hung up

I chose a ring. I think this is the one for my baby, she's gonna love it "Ou, that's nice" August said and I smiled and shook my head

"You think she gonna love it?" I asked and they both shook they head yes.

( ( America P.O.V. ) )

I sat on the couch. Im not like other pregnant people. I don't want to wait until I'm about to deliver to have me a baby shower. No. I want to have my stuff within a week or so cause I need to prepare for stuff. I'm not a last minute type of person.. Victoria came in the living room and sat next to me "What are you doing?" she asked and I sat the stuff down

"planning this baby shower" I shook my head "It's gonna be a challenge but im having this baby shower next Saturday"

"You can pull it off. I'll help , you don't need all this stress on you" she smiled and I gave her a hug. It's nice how she wants to help me , I really appreciate her generosity. "What's left to be done?" she asked

"I just need to send out invitations and I have to cook and decorate and all that stuff the day of"

"Me and Camile will handle that. You need to rest boo" she smiled. I understand where she coming from but I'm still gonna help. Marco walked in the house. You go to the mall but none of these niggas bought any bags in.
