The sun's reflection off of the morning dew sparkled, adding just the right touch of serenity to the sunrise. Sitting on a patch of grass in the garden, perched over the land of Greece, Jimin ruffled his wavy blonde locks, revealing a set of mesmerizing, light blue eyes. To him, his day had not yet begun, as he relished in this moment of peace, before Helios rose the sun even higher.
Today, Jimin thought, would be a great day.
Today, Jimin thought, he would raise hell.
"Hey, Eros, how's today looking?" Heracles called down to the angel. Jimin scanned his mind for a well-thought excuse. "There's a couple down in Athens that needs to be together. I'll work my way down around eight." He looked up at Heracles, eyes shining. The demi-god nodded, and walked away, back towards the palace.
Jimin finally arose, and without saying a word, flew down into the mortal world.
As his feet approached the ground, with a snap of his hands, his appearance changed. Masking his godly looks, he decided to go for a slightly darker skin tone, along with dark, raven hair, that was a little longer in the back than others would expect. His fancy attire was now common dress, and he was left barefoot. A long, dark cloak enveloped his body. Jimin reached up and tugged down the top of his hood, trying to cover his face for extra measure.
He wandered through the bustling crowds, attempting to fit in the best he could. Unfortunately, he drew some attention to himself by nearly slipping on a woman's dress. Suddenly, he found himself being forcibly pulled into a home along his path, his cloak ripped off and lips locking with his, hands coming around his neck to pull him in further. Jimin trailed his hands down the person's waist, down to the ass, and squeezed. The woman, he now thought it was, let out a breathy moan, and removed her hands from his neck, letting them fall down his abdomen, stroking him through his clothing. Jimin sighed, but began to notice his skin turning gold. He immediately pushed the woman off of him to get a good look at her face.
"It's been awhile, Rhea."
"It has, Eros. Still remember me?"
Rhea was one of Jimin's oldest friends. She taught him everything about women and mankind as a whole. How to appeal to their emotions, how to humble them, how to make them love you. They had a minor history between them, but called it off for the sake of their friendship.
Which, in hindsight, Jimin kind of regrets. She is pretty damn gorgeous.
"Look Rhea, as much as I'd like to stay and talk, I need to play matchmaker pretty soon or there'll be some unhappy gods up on Olympus."
The lady sighed, reaching up to brush her fingers through his hair, revealing more of his face. "I know.. promise me we'll catch up one of these days?"
Jimin smiled. "Of course." he uttered softly, left a light kiss upon her lips, and threw his cloak back over his face.
He stepped out into the warmth of the day, and began walking towards a house of nobility when he remembered.
September 22nd. The fall equinox.
Persephone.
It had totally escaped his mind what day it was. This would be the perfect prank to play! Strike Hades with an arrow, watch how jealous Persephone becomes when his affection is pointed at another... what an opportunity!
He began humming to himself as he approached a field on the outskirts of the city. He knew it was almost time for Hades himself to make an appearance, to welcome back his wife Persephone.
Now, Persephone had actually come to love Hades, so she enjoyed going back to the Underworld for the last 6 months of the year. The couple seems so perfect...maybe a little commotion is needed to liven up the depths of Hell. Jimin disguised himself in the surrounding brush, changing his appearance again to that of the familiar blond-haired, blue-eyed god. He watched as the young and beautiful goddess made her way to the field. Her hair changed from her spring blonde to a fall brown, and her eyes, too, darkened, as she prepared to cascade into Hell.
And suddenly, the ground split- rocks, sand, and earth peeling back to form walls, and the soil hardening to form stairs leading to the core. A figure climbed his way out, with each bit of life wilting as he stepped on the green of the grass.
His appearance was, despite being literally from hell, breathtaking. His figure was lean but powerful, a perfect balance between lanky and muscular. Instead of towering over the mortals, he seemed to be the same height as Eros, if not an inch or two taller. He wore fabrics of deep red and black, with a blood-red velvet cloak covering his broad shoulders. His hair, jet black, brushed over his eyes, which were surprisingly a piercing shade of blue.
All Jimin could think at this point was that Hades was more attractive than most of the Olympian gods.
Focus, Jimin, on the task at hand. The god shook his head, clearing his mind, and loaded his bow. He aimed straight at Persephone's body, pinpointing her shoulder, a part of her unblocked by Hade's body.
"Causing havoc?"
And with that, all hell really did break loose.
