8:32 a.m.
"Morning, Mom." Jo greets, sliding herself onto the couch.
     "Hi, honey. How'd you sleep?"
"On and off. I'm worried about Cassy. She never called me last night. I still don't know where she is. What if something happened to her? I mean, she's an addict. What if she relapsed and is really hurt somewhere?"
"You can't think like that, honey. I'm sure whatever happened, Cassy is fine. She's probably sleeping it off. Or maybe she's getting you something."
"I don't know. But I'm worried. I just got her back. I can't bare to lose her again." Jo says, placing her hand on her stomach.  "I can't watch my family fall apart again."
Jo's phone starts to buzz. She picks it up and answers it. "Dante, hi. what's going on?" Jo goes still, so Alexis takes the phone from her.
"Dante, it's Alexis. Can you repeat what you just said... We'll be right there."

"Just a minute!" Sam calls, rushing downstairs with Gavin in her arms. She sets him down and opens the door, swallowing. "Jason, what are you doing here?"
"I came to see my son." He states.
"Danny's u'stairs." Gavin says, smiling at him from where he's started to play with some toy cars.
Jason kneels in front of him. Sam grabs his shirt and pulls him up. "It's not your day with the Danny and Scout."
"Actually, I was hoping to spend the day with Gavin."
"Jason, you're really pushing your luck. You need to leave. This conversation is over."
Griffin comes downstairs and stands on the landing. "What do you want with my son?"
Jason narrows his eyes. "Is that what you think?"
Griffin's mind wanders back to the night before. "Yes, it is. Now get the Hell out."

"Mom, you can't avoid this forever." Shane says, running to where his mother is walking, her feet kicking up sand and saltwater as she goes.
"Your father and I used to walk on the beach all the time when we lived on California. It was about a fifteen minute walk from our house to the beach. It was beautiful."
"Mom, come on. You promised we could talk."
"We are talking. We're talking about your father and how we loved the beach. He would run the beach every morning. It was about a half a mile each direction. So he'd run from our end to the other and come back. He'd get me a fresh iced tea on the boardwalk at the end and run back with it for me."
"You promised to talk to me about Jodie."
"I don't think she'll be happy if she finds out we're talking about her. Especially not when it's me." Pam says, stopping and looking out at the ocean. "Your father hated the Atlantic. He loved the Pacific. It's cause he grew up in Massachusetts."
"Mother! Don't change the subject. Jodie is set to have the babies in two days and you can't just bury the hatchet with her. Why?"
"Because she won't." Pam states, whipping around and facing her son. "She's always going to make the bad guy. Tom was and is her hero. I can't say anything nice about him without being the bad guy and I can't say anything bad about him without being a bitch. Tom was Jodie's entire childhood. He was her father, grandfather, uncle, best friend, and guardian angel. And I hurt him. I hurt him a lot and many times. I left him with our newborn daughter and then took his son away from him after I, after I killed our second daughter." She covers her mouth.
"What happened to Tali isn't your fault. It isn't anyone's. It's just a horrible thing that happens and it happened to you and Dad. You had no control over it."
Pam shakes her head. "Yes I did. I was gonna tell your father at some point but then he died and I never got a chance. It's my fault that Talia died. I knew I shouldn't have done it, but I did. Then I let think it was his fault."
     "Mom, what did you do?"

9:02 a.m.
"Sorry we took so long, my fat ass doesn't move much." Jo says, lowering herself into the interrogation room chair. "Whatever Cassy did, I'm sure it was because she was under the influence. She's an addict and please, I'm going to make sure she gets help."
"Jodie, she wasn't under the influence of anything. Let me explain what she did first." Dante says, laying out crime scene pictures across the table. Jo covers her eyes and turns her head.
Alexis picks one up. "Is this her father, Richard Prow?"
Dante nods. "He was pushed down the stairs then stabbed seventeen times. He was dead about four this morning by someone who was jogging and found blood leaking from his front door. Cassy was found around midnight last night covered in blood. This morning her car was searched and we found a knife, also covered in blood, that matches one missing from Mr. Prow's set. Right now we have Cassidy in custody and she has been charged with the murder of her father."
Jo shakes her head. "Cassy wouldn't. She hated him but she put it behind her. Cassy isn't a killer."
"Then you can help us prove that. Alexis, will you be acting as her attorney?"
     "Jodie's and Ms. Prow's."
     "Let's start than."
     "I wanna see Cassy first."
"We need you to answer the questions first. We don't want her telling you anything that'll change your answers."
     "Fine. Ask away, detective Falconeri."
"What time did Cassy leave the Nurse's Ball last night?"
"Maybe ten thirty. She said she had an errand to run. I, uh, I actually thought she was going out to get a ring to propose to me." She stops, gripping the edge of the table.
     Alexis touches her back. "Honey?"
"One of them just moved suddenly. I'm fine. Where were we?"
"Uh," he glances at Alexis, "did she seen agitated?"
     "Not," she grunts, "particularly."
"Let's just take a quick break. Do you want that?" Dante asks.
Jo nods, placing both hands on her stomach. Dante gets up and leaves. Alexis grabs Jo's shoulder. "I'll call Alan and tell him."
"No, no. It's just Braxton Hicks. I had them last night too. They'll go away if I put my feet up." She says, pointing to the other chair. Alexis gets off it and pushes it closer to her, helping her lift one leg.
Jo stops her as she goes to lift the second. "My water just broke."
