Natsus pov
None of us left the hospital apart from rogue and the kids oh yeah and sting. We all found out that he put pops in hospital and then left. I don't know if that's selfish or helpful I just wish I saw him wondering around the hospital but he's gone.
Pops is still in his coma but he's still breathing and going on strong. Last night the nurse said he hasn't got much time do rogue is coming back with the kids so they can say their goodbyes. It's horrible. It we all know it's going to happen. If pops doesn't wake up then they'll assume he's brain dead and they'll end his breathing.
Cobras pov
Me kinnana and Kayla walk in the hospital room and look at my sleeping father which just makes us all cry. 'Hey pops. It's me kinnana and Kayla here with you right now. We decided to go in age and family order hehe. You know your not going to make it. And I just wanted to say thank you for giving me a life and accepting my new family and I love you for that' my tears flew down my face and I held onto his cold hand but looked away because seeing him just gave me pain in my heart.
'Hey joe. I just want to let you know that I'm eternally grateful for your support in this family thank you for letting be with an amazing family that you started. Deep down you are an amazing man and we all love you' kinnana cried and gave me a hug and watched Kayla hold his other hand.
'I love you grandpa' she whispered and lightly kissed his cheek. I then walked up to my very sad daughter and picked her up and the three of us walked out so Laxus family can walk in.
Laxus pov
Me Mira and Lenny went in the room and saw pops looking like he's in peace but really he's in pain he just can't move or anything to tell or show us where he hurts.
'Hey pops. It's Laxus Mira and Lenny. We're here to say goodbye. I remember the day you adopted me and you told me that I would never break down crying and that I'll always remain strong. Well pops I'm not strong right now because losing another family member is just breaking my heart. I'm sorry I never backed up enough and I'm sorry for being weak right now but I'm really gonna miss you' I cried and Mira rubbed my shoulders and then reached for pops hand.
'Joe you have made me feel like a part of your family since me and Laxus met. It's almost like you jinked our relationship. I promise that I'll never leave his side and hope that your next destination makes you feel no pain and keeps you happy forever'
'Pop pop sleep tight. pop pop rest now?' Lenny said and asked and it just made us cry even more.
'Yeah sweetie pop pop is nearly going to be resting soon' Lenny crawled from the foot of the bed to pops face and touched it with his soft small hand. He then gave his grandfather a big hug which made us both cry like mad. Mira picked him up and we both headed out for Gajeel to go in.
Gajeels pov
Everyone came out crying but I'm crying already. I walk in and just see a man that looks like my father on the hospital bed with tubes coming in and out of his mouth. 'Hey pops' I spoke in a low voice and held his hand hoping he'll hold my hand back but there was no use.
'I bet your real disappointed in me. I'm a sad excuse for a son, only you know that I left for college because I broke Levy's heart. But I've been weak. I loved her so much and now she'll never take me back for what I did and your words stung me for months now. I don't want to let go of her or you because you understand how much pain I'm in also, I need my dad to guide me through the pain I'm going through, I need you to tell me how to heal myself. I need you and don't want you to go. But if you are in pain, feel free too we aren't gonna hate ya pops, I don't want you in pain no longer' I remained holding his hand and looked at the tubes stuck and forced in his mouth.
'I love you' I said and walked out the room so that Natsu and Lucy can come in'
Natsus pov
'Hey pops. It's weird seeing you like this. Your meant to be reading your newspaper right now hehe' I said and Lucy looked at me and held my hand.
